Do you find that certain names are more suspicious than others?
Like in terms of cheaters I feel a lot of names fall under like certain categories which always make me suspicious when I load into lobbies. The main ones I see are ones with either way too many numbers, barcode names (names with a bunch of Is and ls like IIllIllIIlII to make them a pain to report.) or like single character names like - or #.
Personally if I see an account with a name like that paired with a private profile I know the games probably going to be funky in some way.

To be honest, I don't really "make assumptions" or judge players because of their names. They usually don't mean anything.
You see, one time I played against a Survivor that literally had "Damian Wayne" as his username.
I loaded into the match expecting to face an annoying brat. Instead I got a very respectful player.
Names can be deceiving.

Normally idc about names but when people try to make names more annoying to report its always suspicious to me. Also generqally I assume nobody is hacking if its not blatant like though people who notice 2 or 3% speed boosts seem to have like superhuman gamesense to me. But like sometimes the guy named lllIlllIIlllIIIlI with a private profile and no perks in a game where gens seemed a little too fast just seems suspicious to me even if I dont report them.

I have not seen any particular pattern or trend.

Yes.
- For console if I see a Temp-364765 name I leave the lobby. The person was dumb enough to make an offensive name that got banned so I dont trust them. Also experience has shown when I don’t leave the lobby they play like jerks more often than not.
- Names like - Iliketohide or toxicdude or runcakeorileave or potato - i advise you take them at their word. More often than not the name is accurate.
- I’ve played with hacker survivors and they’re not usually the ones with ‘hax’ or some derivation in their name. But I’ll still leave a lobby with some form of ‘hacker’ in the name.

Not a real tipping off point, but namrs that are just a combination of a couple of letters and numbers might be a temp account that got just dbd and a haxxor suit on board, but that's hard to verify with a non-public profile.
But alas, this is just general assumptions and pre-judgment and you should just play as unbiased as possible.

when a name ends in TTV I become suspicious like I’m being monitored by some great number of people. 🤔

Had a team mate once called something like 'allboonsalways' and his build was, in fact, all boons

A few days ago I loaded into a lobby to see a survivor named something like "078319079123974."
Needless to say, it was a hacker lobby and I should have seen that one coming.

Anyone with numbers in their name is an instant dodge.

The raunchier the name, the more worried you gotta be.

If they have a pun involving the word “Hex:” in their name, they are the best player in that match.

Hmmm maybe if someone has ######### or 5446343546314354 random numbers than little bit yes. But usualy nothing happends in the game (no cheaters).

Anyone with TTV is highly sus. It's either going to be a good game or a day at the Crotus Prenn Circus.

If they have a Hex: name they are going to give me free downs by trying and failing to get flashlight saves.

Half of the console Temp-364765 names arent even just name bans, most arent even offensive. I got my name banned since "Iron_Cutlass" was deemed too aggressive since a cutlass is a weapon. I ended up getting the name ban appealed after an entire month, but it just goes to show awful the moderation for PlayStation/Xbox names are.
