People are being way too apocalyptic about this patch
I've seen a lot of people in this forum talking as if patch 6.1.0 was the begining of the end, saying that it "broke" the game and even that it's going to "kill" it, that it was the "worst patch ever", solo queue is "dead" and soon there will be no more. And I must say, all this talk is highly exagerated.
The patch made survivor harder, yeah. Solo survivor is too hard right now when you face a killer with a really strong build, I agree. However, it was NOT THE FIRST TIME a patch made the game too hard for one side. It happened multiple times and never "killed" the game. There was the patch in early 2018 that made flashlight saves broken and pallet saves absolutely impossible to prevent, the patch that added Ash and Mettle of Man, the one that introduced Mikaela and the original Circle of Healing with 100% healing increased healing speed... they made killers' life hell for some time, but later got fixed, just like the issues in the current patch will be too.
Solo survivors are playing terribly and throwing the game on the first minute? Killer queues are too long? The same issues were far more extreme back in 2018's the Hallowed Blight. Sure, it was event that lasted for only two weeks, but if even during THAT time the game was still quite playable, it can certainly handle its current state for some time before it's adjusted. Let's not forget, until a while ago, survivors were the ones complaining about long queues.
So keep giving the devs feedback and the situation will be handled on the next few patches. This game isn't going to die just because of one more patch with a few balance issues. Let's not forget they already started toning a few things down from PTB to live, as Overcharge + Call of Brine would have been much stronger if it wasn't changed from the PTB.
