So when are you gonna fix Claire’s face?
hello my friends I hope you are all having a great day or night. As you all know,I love Claire Redfield. She is my main and I knew that ever since I saw her in one of my lobby’s for the first time when I was playing with Meg In my first couple of days of playing this game. I didn’t know much of anything about resident evil and embarrassingly enough I though resident evil and final fantasy were the same thing. I know I’m stupid and live under a rock. Point is she made me into a fan and I even bought resident evil 2 because of her. Didn’t care about Leon just her. But with that comes the biggest issue with Claire In this game. It’s her face.
Its not bad enough that you made her into a skin that cost 15 bucks and not her own character along with Chris, but the fact that her face is all fu*ked up.
Her face looked amazing in the trailer and in the poster
What happened? Why did her face get absolutely destroyed? Please fix it already it’s embarrassing that you had such an amazing and beautiful character, and she gets relegated as just a skin and that her face got completely trashed. Also why did you make her so loud?

Well, maybe we are lucky and she gets a make over along with RPD map and the second RE chapter! Hopefully Chris too, he looks way better in poster/trailer as well…
at least Capcom seems more willing to work with BHVR than NoES license holders..

No, she doesn't. the original Cheryl model may looks old but you can clearly see that facial bone structure is completely wrong and she looks quite different with her body too.

Perhaps you can elaborate on the differences some more? As far as I can see, the DBD model face is similar but just somewhat more thinner/smaller

i posted a picture where there is everything explained and there is an overlap from the old cheryl on the new, but in sintesis the facial bones are completely wrong, Nose, cheekbones, jaw and chin are different and so are the lips. if you add the fact that she is skinnier and she is missing her freckles you can say that she is a different person and not the original character.

she should be 3 months older, if i remember correctly, but 3 months are not nearly enough to make her looks older so much

Nah your right. They could have made her look more accurate but I don’t think it’s horrendous like Claire. I think Cheryl looks good to me but you probably played the game so your more attached to her original look

Well they did fix Quentin I guess. And I had no issue with your take btw. I guess the devs aren’t focused on fixing Cheryl since they don’t hear the complaints. I honestly never heard anyone have issue with her look

there were quite a lot complaints in the beginning at the released of the dlc, they """"fixed""" some textures on her face but really nothing changed. Quentin was a railway disaster, fixing him was a must.

I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, it's literally my childhood. So, of course when it came to DBD I couldn't contain myself and I splurged to buy EVERYTHING. Claire is one of my favorite characters in the series, and even though her face was messed up, I was certain it was a bug that would be fixed promptly.
Over a year later...no Claire face fix. A skin I can never use, because it frustrates me so much. Truly makes me sad.
I should have known better. I won't be buying any of the new DLC cosmetics unless they fix Claire's face. I don't think it's so much to ask that such an expensive skin actually gets the fixes it needs, so it looks like the character you're paying for.
