Stuck in match with a hacker
Lisa Garland floats past my screen every so often, unaffected by the end-game collapse. Anyone else ever find themselves in this situation? Did you leave or did you stay and do something else in the meanwhile? I'm waiting this one out, at least I'm preventing her from ruining any other matches in the meanwhile.

Record, report, the game will end at some point.
You could also try to simply record and do the "additional report", if the cheater isn't on Steam. Not sure it would work but you will not have to wait for another hour.

I sat in the game for 10 minutes, realised my mistake, then kept doing it because at that point it was a test of egos and I was not losing to a cheater. So I left and went for a walk.
In future when this happens I just leave. I cannot be asked to sit and wait for it. I have the recorded evidence to report it, and then I just dip

Behavior does absolutely NOTHING about the VAST amount of cheaters in this game.. And tbh the majority of the cheaters are killers. And nothing will ever be done about it.. Because They don't care.

Strangely I've only ever seen survivor hackers.
Infinite instant blinding flashlights, teleporting to the exit gates before they're completed, instant healing, fasting sprinting speeds, etc.
Admittedly some of them have hacked their way into being killers, but they're queueing up via the survivor role.

speed hacks/anti-360 hacks are the most common

granted survivor hacks are much more obvious than killer hacks as most ppl don't even notice anti-360's but slowed down clips of gameplay show broken animations and killers doing automatic 360 swings while a survivor comes close to them from even behind. I actually have a very large collection of clips of cheaters/exploiters and killers are definitely more common than survivors doing insta gens/teleporting etc. speed hacks are 100% the most used hack for killers.. walls are surprising much more rare then FPS type games. survivors most used hack that i've seen is an insta gen completion hack.

I've gone ahead and recorded her floating mid-air, so hopefully that gives BHVR enough ammunition to get rid of this account. Thanks for keeping me company :)

had a teleporting bubba the other day, downed all 4 survivors within 10-15 seconds of the game starting and then slugged everyone to death.
Not entirely sure of the point tbh.

Er... hitting a survivor during a 360 is already sketchy RNG at best, and then there's auto-aim.
I have no idea if an "anti-360" is even a real hack that's available, but it seems to me that it would be absolutely undiscernible from normal play with even the slightest bit of latency.
I get plenty of dodgy 360 hits in, and I've never hacked.

Anti-360 hacks are in fact a thing. My nephew (who is a PC killer main) has in fact done research on all of the hacks/cheat available in this game and anti-360 is a system that auto swings at a survivor whenever they come into striking range.. It literally is as easy as just walking around and the hack will auto swing and hit basically every time... you literally cannot miss with it. (unless interrupted by a pallet)

Before EGC the match would just kick you out if it lasted too long. I can't remember the exact time, but I think it was like one hour and twenty minutes or so. That's how much time the hatch standoff would last if the survivor decided not to even try for hatch.

The last time it happened to me, I went to cook some dinner, by the time I was back, they had JUST canceled the game. Lucky timing for me that is quite uncharacteristic, but we take those.
