Okay, so, why aren't survivors allowed to have stackable perks/effects while killers are allowed?

After so many restrictions towards survivor role I still don't get it.

First it was Exhaustion.

Then they've added so many rules for DS to not work under certain conditions like healing/ saving and so on.

Now we see the new introduction - disabling perks after the generators are all finished and not being able to stack different Deep Wounds effects.

Meanwhile we pretend it to be fine when killers stack certain mechanics to make it even worse.

-----

While I somewhat understand that certain limitations were needed to be made, the possibility to simply remove perks from play is like an equivalent of old NOED - if a killer can't catch you and is terrible at playing, he shouldn't be rewarded for that and a killer isn't supposed to get easy kills simply because we now remove perks from survivor's inventory.

-----

It's actually somewhat funny how killers complain about something survivors have, and how developers react towards survivor's nerfing hammer faster than killer's nerfing hammer. And it's funny how survivors say that tunnelling and camping are things in this game that are unfun and how certain mechanics just break different sides on killers, but have we seen any of those killer nerfs? No. Meanwhile the only options to stop tunnelling and camping got basically "removed" and the testing server was an actual prove on how developers care about certain changes.

Remember: it took one week of killers crying to nerf "Off the record" even harder while it's been a whole month from survivor's side to have a look into Slowdown meta and even after PTB it was not nerfed in any way.

You can have stackable effects. Healing speed, vaulting speed, just speed, repair speed, those are all effects you can stack <3

You cant have multiple endurance effects because that was deemed too strong. I think at least the base BT should stack, but oh well...

If you seriously thinks all those perks not being able to stack is unfair, I think you better play game more on both side to understand how this game works.

And actually there is plenty other effect that DOES stack just like killer perks.

Its still possible to win against most killers that run full slowdown but if they still had exhaustion stacking it would be impossible to get more than 2 kills unless you were nurse or blight. Endurance stacking was still busted af when you could have 2-4 health states per hook without being healed.

Also about the "killer isn't supposed to get easy kills" argument... literally old DS and OTR gave you a free escape in end game even if you basically did nothing for your team. Meanwhile killer has to do everything cause they don't have a team to rely on. And even then 4 slowdowns on most killers can still be largely mitigated by spreading out.

Because killer players are just built different. Survivors could not handle it. Not Giga Chad enough.

Because killers and survivors are different.

That’s a continuous lie I see in this forum. Every surv has 4 perks that can be used by him/her and the killer has 4 perks that affect all of the survs. Imagine if killers can use 16 perks but only 4 can take effect on every surv and not the others. You can complaint as killer because you use the same 4 perks for every surv, but not because survs have 16 perks and killers 4.
