What is up with the language filter?

In a game about killing survivors, I really cannot say,


"Kill Dwight"? in post game chat?

    Language filter is more capricious than a feather-clad diva.

    There are words that you will get censored for, but that other players can say without problem.

    You can't say "claudette main". You actually often can't say "main" at all, or any character name in the same sentence.

    Some perk names are censored.

    They need to censor Dead Hard it's very offensive

    That's pretty stupid. Next thing you know we gonna be shooting survivors with silly string instead of chopping them up with a machete or chainsaw...
