Kinship is a really bad perk that needs a rework.

At the very least it should be something that you give to another Survivor, rather than something you equip to help yourself. Being able to buy another 34 seconds on hook for a Survivor getting camped AT LEAST buys the Survivors more Gen repair time.

The best case scenario on this perk being good is if there are two hooked Survivors, you could run passed one to give them Kinship, while you run off to get the other one off hook, buying some time. It being tied to who has it equipped is just straight bad.

Could also give a small unhook speed buff also, to give it just a little more Oomph.

I wouldn't say the perk is bad. It's pretty good for what it does. It's just hard to use it in solo q, because it's a perk that's highly dependent on coordination to get value from it. Solo Q teammates don't know you have it so they can't really play around it.

I would just give it the kindred treatment. Allow the perk to pause both your second state and pause a teammate's second state.

Camping shouldn’t be addressed with a perk. Something like .. if the killer is within 16m from the hook for 20 secs without chasing someone then the hatch spawns and everyone could escape. end of camping in half a day

I feel like it should work for both phases individually and it would be fine. Also survivors should be able to see you have kinship when you get in range make the icon appear on thier screen.

Preferably I would prefer if they fixed camping in general but this seems like the more realistic option so we should be pushing for this.

Maybe to make it more viable in solo, they can make it so it shows your teammates that you have the perk when you are hooked.

It's actually a good perk, but it should absolutely notify other players that you have it before it's activated. Show an icon or something that's grey at first, and lights up when someone procs it just to make it double obvious it's in use.

I mean the same goes for Deliverance and in my opinion many other perks that might make people try to play in seemingly less intuitive ways, but Kinship in particular is more in need of something like this than any other imo.
