A perk to counter hard face camping.

I wanted to talk about a perk that could really counter face camping. However this post isn't about an idea for a new perk, but about one that already exists: Camaraderie/ Kinship. It is a Steve Harrington perk, and is one of the many perks in the game that many people probably forgot existed in the first place. The reason for this is because of how bad the perk is.

The description reads, "While you are on the hook in the struggle phase, Kinship activates. If another survivor is within 16 meters of you while Kinship is activated, the hook timer is paused for 34 seconds". So why is this perk so bad? It has to do with how unbelievably situational it is.

One, in SoloQ, this perk would be so hard to use without communication (I've never used this perk, so I'm not sure if it even tells the other survivor that you have it or not). The only use this perk has in its current form is to be used by very cooperative SWFs, but even then they could just use something better. Two, this perk only has value when you are getting face camped, which doesn't happen every game (unless you are very unlucky).

So what is my proposed change? My idea is simple and keeps the same idea of this perk. Basically, keep the original perk, but add an additional effect of you being able to give Kinship to someone else who is on the hook, essentially the same way Kindred works. The new description would read, "While you are on the hook in the struggle phase, Kinship activates. If another survivor is within 16 meters of you while Kinship is activated, the hook timer is paused for 34 seconds. If you are within 16 meters of a survivor in the struggle phase, their hook timer is paused for 34 seconds".

This change makes this perk way more usable, and would be a decent pick for an altruistic player. This perk would still be situational, as it would only be really useful if the killer was face camping, which does not happen every game. To combat this, maybe an additional, completely different effect could be added to give Kinship some added functionality, but I don't have any ideas for what the effect might be.

In the end, this is a super simple change that would make Kinship go from a completely forgettable perk, to kinda decent, which is better than nothing. Let me know what you think!
