mettle only need 3 things to make it a better perk
remove the downside when you get it activated
reduce the amount of protection hits required to activate it by 1 each time you were prevented going down from it's effect (when you reach 1 proteciton hit it will stay at 1 protection hit or instead deactivate it when you activated it at that point)
give it it's own unique endurance status effect that acts exactly the same way as current mettle's endurance does so there wouldn't be any confusion with it
I get it they are making it so it works like other endurance perks/addons, but with the new endurance changes it wont work as well as it does currently which will decrease it's potential massively
maybe im overreacting, probably because of mettle being my most favorite perk of all, but the upcoming changes will make it much less fun and rewarding to use
