i was upgrading my perks while on level 50, trying to get enduring to purple, and now i cant and im forced to restart and prestige????
omg seriously, i dont play much, i dont wanna prestige several times
now i cant upgrade perks after level 50 and cant get new add ons etc????
ugh
have you ever heard the saying 'IF IT AINT BROKEN DONT 'FIX' IT' ?
this game becomes worse over time
also they have nerfed hex no one escapes death too!

BHVR's business team said to keep the grind for profits.
(Obv not confirmed but the grind is a legitimate business model for microtransaction games)

Well, at least they slightly nerfed NOED, Could be removed for all I care.
Nobody understands why BHVR made the Grind worse.

You don’t lose anything now when you Prestige. If your Enduring was green then it will still be green after you Prestige and will still show up in the bloodwebs to get it to purple.

You go from good sized blood webs that may have what you need to the useless baby blood webs. So I'd argue you do lose something.

Don't forget about the oh so thoughtful prestige tax. Uncle BHVR with their hand in our pockets taking their 20k share of our BP... As a long-time player all you can do is shake your head and wonder why they decided to go in this particular direction.

They actually changed the rarities of add-ons in the last patch of the lower level bloodwebs so presumably you do get the rare and ultra rare things in them now.

I don't disagree with this conspiracy theory but the thing is games like this usually offer some sort of paid alternative to grinding. There is nothing like that in DBD.

I think it's comical that they claimed the grind would be reduced by 75%. What a crock of #########. I'm dreading having to upgrade these new characters when they're released because my thicc brain needs every perk on every character even though I main just one.

In all seriousness, that's where the new system will shine. The new characters will start out with anything and everything you've already unlocked, while grinding them to Prestige will put all of their perks on every character you already own.
After you've got the new character to Prestige 1, choice is yours to keep prestiging or just level your other characters to get the perks upgraded to tier 3.
