Pinhead’s box spawns are so confusing

So, I’ve been pretty addicted to learning Pinhead as of late and something that’s always been troubling me is box spawns. Even using Lethal Pursuer and knowing the rules of the box’s spawn (like how it doesn’t spawn within 40m of Pinhead or 16m of any survivors), wherever I go always seems to be so far off from where it actually is. I don’t know if this is a skill issue or if I’m insanely unlucky, but I’ve gone 20 matches or so without finding the box on the ground a single time. Can anyone help me out? For now I’m just using Chatterer’s Tooth so I can see the box and get used to where it spawns.

You can’t really KNOW where it spawns unless you have that add on. Unless you know the position of every survivor you just need to rely on luck. From what I’ve experienced it spawns near loops/pallets/windows based on the survivors positing of course. You can sort of try to triangulate where it is but it’s mostly just dumb luck from my experience at least.

It’s not supposed to be found by the killer tbh, it’s just there as a little reward if you do. Its honestly better to pressure some gens and get downs than to go find it, especially since Pinhead doesn’t have much pressure and his chains can be easily avoided if the survivors know what they’re doing.
