Adrenaline is useless with Terminus?
Adrenaline should overule terminus? how else do we counter it? Adrenaline is literally the only good survivor perk atm and now its being taken away.

Adrenaline already ignores exhaustion and even waits for you to be unhooked or dropped from the killer's grasp to trigger.
A single killer perk hard countering an already good perk that already ignores things it shouldn't is not an issue.

adrenaline is definitely not the only good survivor perk, at all. No need to have a sore opinion.
19 -
Well it depends on the order at which the effect is applied, there are instances where Adrenaline applies first.
With Renewal/Second Wind + Adrenaline, Adrenaline applies first, then Renewal/Second Wind heals afterwards, just for an example.

but that's the whole fun of it? We have worked hard to get to end game so i should be allowed some fun. now one perk takes away any recovery from adrenaline.
4 -
It's not even unique to Terminus.
Any perk that inflicts broken can counter Adrenaline.
6 -
Adrelanine its completely useless the only thing u get is the sprint.

i dont know why its such a big deal to you

A Killer perk trumps one singular survivor perk?
Woah, that’s definitely not at all logical and balanced in a 4v1 scenario.
9 -
yeah it didn't make me invisible as well :D
0 -
yes but never specifically at end game..

I mean, you can still go from being downed to injured with it, so you can still get some value from the health state.
Also "we have worked hard to get to end game so i should be allowed some fun", and what about everyone else, or the killer? Should they be allowed fun for enduring a match until the end? Youre logic doesnt make sense, both sides have to go through stuff, you arent owed anything for playing the game.

i mean i stayed downed as i apparently was broken on the floor?

BHVR makes perks that counter each other all the time. It's good that they added this perk to counter adrenaline since it has become more common as of this last patch and is very strong. Yeah it sucks for adrenaline users, but now there's something fair for both sides. It's not a guarantee that the killer brings the perk and not a guarantee survivors are running adrenaline.

I prefer there being a counter than adrenaline being nerfed to the ground.

i mean you can clearly hear footsteps of survivors- get better head phones- I never needed iron will - i usually prefer to stay in chase.

Broken only prevents you from being healed while injured. You can still be healed while downed. If anything, it's probably a bug and not intended, might be fixed when PTB comes to Live Servers.
2 -
You have it backwards. Terminus is the counter to Adrenaline. There are two sides to this game remember.

true im just having a hissy fit tbh LOL and i think it was bugged too.

if Adrenaline countered Terminus, the whole point of the perk would be pointless. It'd be DoA.
Adrenaline countering Freddy is cool though.
0 -
Adrenaline waking you up has always been very unnecessary.
4 -
just what we needed a perk to counter a survivor perk that already cant heal thru Mending from annoying killers.

I love Freddy, and I am one of the types that believes Adrenaline is overtuned. I always put it in top 5, at least, and in my opinion, the reason we did not see it was because the other 4 were more consistent. That being said, I have to admit, it is cool flavor that adrenaline wakes up survivors. Freddy could use some help... A lot of it. But I kind of like that interaction.
1 -
I don't, and Adrenaline is one of my favorite perks in the game.
That interaction was not made to be "thematic".
It was made to nerf him even further.

Maybe the perk wasn't designed to counter Adrenaline, but instead to counter the fact the survivors 99% gates and leave them there until everyone can escape. Just like they gave survivors a perk to help counter and combat camping killers.
1 -
Just use noed it's perk to counter adrealine basically.
0 -
You still get the speed boost, it's fine.
also, adrenaline is nor the best Survivor perk at the moment nor is it the only good one
3 -
Adrenaline is an okay perk, nothing new with a perk countering a perk. Both perks are not worth running in my opinion

Your comment made me smile. The way you said the killers should be allowed fun for enduring a match until the end sounded like the killer is about to die or something by the end of the match ? Is there another option where the killer is not strong enough and he just doesnt make it to the end ? Oh wait thats when the killer actually win the game before the end game. You talk about logic and yours is strange as well
Anyway my problem with this new Teminus perk is that there is no requirement for the killer - something to do for it. You just apply it to everyone if they manage to get to the end game which means they are kinda winning. Adrenaline is a perk that was made to reward exactly this. You do 5 gens for it and make it to the end. With the current state of the game this is a rare thing esp for solo queue. So adrenaline fits even better when it works. And suddenly the killer gets this without doing anything ? The survivors do they objectives and suddenly the killer is getting the upper hand because of that ? It is kinda weird. THe perk needs something more to be done by the killer so HE gets rewarded by it for doing SOMETHING worth the effect.

The killer has to have you injured, dying, or hooked to make you broken with this perk. There's still a condition he has to fulfill to get value from it.

All I hear is facts

My entire point was that nothing is owed to a player for playing the game, regardless of role. Killers arent owed a 4K. Survivors arent owed an escape. Nobody is owed for things to go the way they want. Stuff happens sometimes, and we might not like the result of it, but we shouldnt expect handouts based on such. That was my point. Though I will admit, I did word it in weird way, and it could be interpreted differently based on that.

You still get picked up if you are slugged and you still get the 5 second speed boost.
You just don't get fully healed.
So 2/3 things still work. For a mediocre Killer Perk, partly countering a strong Survivor Perk seems reasonable.

I don't suspect this will make much a difference, running Terminus is one less slow down perk you can run.... given the meta is 4 slow down.... well....
0 -
God forbid a Killer Perk counters a Survivor Perk.
Also, Adrenaline isn't the only good Survivor Perk, Dead Hard, Off The Record, and Boon: Circle Of Healing are better
0 -
Terminus counters Adrenaline the same way NOED does
It makes you go down in 1 hit
You still get the speed boost no matter what so the perk is far from useless

Imagine bringing Blood Warden into a game and it gets hard countered not even by a perk, but by a survivor tactic that isn't even detrimental to anyone 99% of the time, ie 99ing the exit gates. shrugs Thats just the game, if you are not a meta warrior you gotta live with not getting value out of your build EVERY game. But thats the fun of off-meta builds: when they finally click and all the pieces fall together, you get such a fun rollercoaster.
