Question of the day #2 (Perk Question)
Survivor side
Q. You're using Object Of Obsession the perk triggers 30 seconds in which killer do you most want to see & perhaps just as importantly not want to see!
Killer side
Q. A survivor loads in with object do you hunt them down mercilessly for their foolishness or do you largely ignore them until the game is very much in your favor?

I just treat the object user as a normal survivor, but because of the aura reading I naturally end up going after them more.

From my personal perspective I can't remember the last time a player used the perk when I was a killer if they did honestly I'd probably assume they were a god looper & leave them unless they in an area that gave me a significant advantage.
As a survivor I only use it on laurie when I play survivors in rotation with adept perks only. I want to see trapper I most definitely don't want to see nurse!
Killers seem fairly 50 / 50 on if their gonna go hell bent on wiping me out or ignoring me completely.
I'm not a god looper & really hate the perk but like no mither I do get given a pitty escapes occassionally when my team get trashed because they think I'm trying to get the achievement (got both years ago lets not tell them!)

I play both:)
Survivor: If for some reason I hadn't noticed any TVs (sat on gen and zoned out at start of match), I would love to see an Onryo. Having OoO is nice because it keeps good tabs on her as she travels around the map and it would also let me know if she's running floods of rage. She's also a relatively easy killer to have chases with, so her seeing me a bunch is just more time for me to loop the killer. Probably wouldn't be excited seeing a Trickster, not a particularly fun killer to play against, but most likely would not want to have a Dredge or Plague as my killer. Letting Dredge know where I am so he can teleport easily would be a little annoying, and I find him a little better than Onryo in chase and Plague is just scary. She grabs her puke then sees your aura and now you're on the ground.
Killer: I usually just ignore the OoO as killer because it doesn't really bother me much on most killers. The only time I would maybe try to target them is if I am a trap killer and they are using that information to disarm everything. The only other time I would use that information is if it would give me a free hit mid chase with another survivor or if I hooked a survivor and need somewhere to go. It can be good information to keep tabs on each other, but I don't get personally offended by them running the perk.

If I'm running OoO, I'm hoping it's not a high-mobility killer or an instadown killer. If I choose to run the perk, I'm going to try to fool the killer a lot and waste their time, so I don't want them to catch up to me quickly or down me quickly.
As a killer, I can't remember the last time I saw OoO...I'm at least SLIGHTLY more likely to go after them, but I usually won't go after them hard unless they seem to be a real problem.

In fairness when I play as Laurie or David (more so david) i'm more likely getting myself killed because I'll go out of my way to get everyone else out before me & I never hide waiting for others to die i'll fight on regardless until the end which is also possibly why some killers let me out

Survivor:
If I don't see an aura at all, I'm immediately paranoid of a Ghostface or Michael somewhere. Scary.
Killer:
"lol this survivor has object, neat"
