Is devour hope bugged?

I just had a devour hope match and cleansed it myself removing the exposed. After the killer downed me and mori'd me with a single hook state. It's bugged right? cause I swore it was supposed to lose all stacks on destruction

    Sounds like buff.

    Because bugs are buffs, right? I swear if the nerf Devour Hope. 🤬

    Yes it is bugged in some circumstances you can still mori people even after they cleanse the totem. It's pretty inconsistent so not 100% sure of the exact conditions, but it seems that to trigger it you need 1) to have mori'd at least one survivor before they cleansed the totem and 2) you can only mori survivors who are dead on hook, so overall it doesn't affect balance that much.

    I think it's just you need to mori someone else first as a glitch condition. I got mori'd with just a single hook state and would of survived a hook a while otherwise

    Sounds wrong indeed.

    It's weird because I've seen a recent video with Devour Hope where the killer did a mori before the totem got cleansed and he couldn't mori afterward. Maybe a random glitch or it has another trigger condition.
