MMR being fixed in foreseeable future?

I am no longer asking, I am on my knees begging.

I doubt it. They are in that phase of prioritizing queue times.

I honestly would just look more forward to the queue times. If the queue times get any longer would you mind waiting 10 minutes to get into a more fair match? I don't think so. Most people don't like waiting in a game queue for that long. I'd rather take the 1-4 minute queue times with semi-unpredictable matchmaking.

Agreed, I wanted to play some killer tonight to knock out my rituals and some challenges.

I gave up after waiting 10 minutes to get into lobby and player disconnects during loading... twice in a row.

Define "fixed." They are always adjusting the system as time goes on. But all of the numbers are hidden, so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The MMR has never worked well. It's a 12k hour team of sweat lords one game and then a bunch of guys with 100 hours the next. Just kill the system off entirely since it barely even works. I'd rather have instant queues than sit in a long queue with a system that doesn't even work.

mmr actually works for the most part. Played with my friend who is mostly brand new, and we mostly got baby killers. I switched to solo, and I was vs'ing really competent killer again.

Problem is the queues are always very lopsided, so the system is kind of forced to give you mostly random matchmaking instead of giving you someone you should be playing against.

I’d personally take a 5-10 min mandatory wait to get paired against people my own “skill” (whatever that means) on paper to where it truly is as close to level playing field as possible . Until then I’m dodging some lobbies & hoping bots come soon

I'm still waiting for them to implement the system that checks what the overall escape was and reflect that on your mmr. It sucks when you get caught at the end of the game and your teammates just leave and so you're only one who dies and take the full mmr hit.

The current state of SBMM/MMR (what ever it currently does, or not) is the result of a two-year-journey. In the Q&A Livestream January 2022 SBMM details were presented by Patrick, and we got to know that all it takes is a "win" according to BHVRs win-condition (kills/escapes) to raise your hidden SBMM/MMR rating.

Remember, that's the result of a two-year-journey. It took them 2 years to come up with something that is as unsophisticated as it can be. You're expecting something that is orders of magnitudes more complex. 😋 😂 They have a couple of values they can tweak, and they will keep tweaking them. Forth and back, forth and back. That's it.

I'm not trying to be negative, but let's be realistic: the things you want to have in the game, they are not going to happen.

Without a visual representation of MMR, I don't believe it exists.

I don't understand why they get rid of it and make it grade based like it used to be. Was pretty good back then.

I'd take the longer ques over the very loose mmr ranges
