I Think Blight,360’s, and Hug tech Is Overhated
Yes, I know I’m really weird for saying that. I think Blight is a lot of fun to play as. I’ve been playing him a lot more during the past month on my ps4 while also trying to see how far in rank I will go. I know I said this a while ago but at first I never played Blight considering my main killer was always Ghostface.
But once I started to play Blight more I started to think he was really fun. So anyway my point is that if people learn to play as him and also against him more, they may see he’s not so bad. I will also agree that alchemist ring is definitely crazy on him and does need to be tone a bit.
I also think that Hug tech and 360’s as silly that may sound coming from me lol. I think again that they shouldn’t be removed either since it does required a bit of skill to master those techniques. I tried to master both of those techniques and they are really hard to pull off from my experience.
I only brought this discussion up cause I’ve been seeing a ton of hate on Blight, hug tech, and 360’s. I mean again I understand certain killers and techniques can be pain to face. I will also say that again and sorry for having to keep repeating myself is that people need to learn and adapt.

I never knew Hug tech and 360’s were bugs, I always thought they were just fun and interesting skills that the game offer and that you learn from them.

its my opinion that you shouldn’t need a 20000 dpi mouse to play a killer at the highest level.
memes aside blight is perfectly balanced in the same way hillbilly is. On the right hands he’s unstoppable as the skill ceiling is to the moon. Where as nurse the skill floor is extremely high but the skill ceiling isn’t that much higher, which makes nurse more appealing than hillbilly and blight.

It does not matter you mastered it or not. It is bug and it needs to be fixed. Simple.
Plus they also needs to fix other Blight bugs too. So i finally can play him on maps like Ormond.

Oh I agree, I also think Nurse is way harder to learn and like you said it doesn’t matter who you are good with like a certain killer or survivor. Which like you also said doesn’t always mean you need a mouse or any other controller.I know I may of contradicted myself but I was just confused with all the sudden hate.

Honestly bhvr removing hug tech will force them to fix Blight’s collisions so we take those

If they do that, it would be interesting to see and deal with. Maybe like you said might make him feel better to play but I don’t know, we will have to wait and see.

You can't imagine how much i hate Ormond, Swamp, Lerry and The Game. Whenever i play Blight, i am usually getting these maps. Maybe i am unlucky, maybe game just hates me.
So if they fix all Blight bugs, at least Ormond and Swamp will be playable for him. Lerry and The Game... They are different story.

Oh I understand completely, playing on Ormond, Swamp, Game, and other indoor maps, heck I even say Corn maps, Garden of Joy, and Haddon field are all equally a pain to play as Blight on. So yeah I get it, those maps again are really hard to move around on due to all the weird bug out areas. Sometimes when I would go near a tree or any other object I would sometimes side too.

its not a bug. It’s game mechanics the devs did not think possible.
but by your logic, if it’s a “bug” and needs to be removed, then we need to remove survivor spinning, window techs, fov techs, etc.

I like to try to stay optimistic sometimes so believing that them fixing collisions won’t result in a buggy mess would be nice for a change

Hey people, we have a person here who knows game better than devs. The creator of Blight said it is not intended, so it is bug. But no, it is not bug. Because RatbasterdJr is saying that.
Blight is not my main, i am just playing him time to time and i am trying to master him. My worst games were on Lerry, The Game, Ormond and Swamp. Ormond has a lot objects which does not allow me to rush.

I play blight at 800 dpi & < 50% killer sensitivity and can do all the flashy parts of blight. They're just flashy though that's the thing at the highest level people are not doing moonrush 180 hug techs because it just doesn't work well against good survivors. Playing him how he was intended is him at his strongest and maybe you throw in a hug tech here or there for traversal of bad maps/geometry.

One of the devs had a Twitch stream, where he said he didn't intend to add hug tech into the game, and people flooded the forums with "a game dev said this was an exploit". I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but none of the game devs stream their games on Twitch anymore.

I see and that shouldn’t of surprise me. But I only say cause I don’t really watch Twitch all that much. I also know that the devs don’t stream as much as they use too but like I said I don’t watch Twitch all that much anyway. I only go by what I seen on Twitter, YouTube, and the forums for news. I just thought it was silly to complain about game mechanics that’s been around for a while a now.

Are you willingly omitting that Mandy confirmed it being a bug here in the forums? She also said that it will get eventually get fixed, meaning that it is known by the devs as a "known bug".
Confirmed a bug by BHVR themselves but if you know better go on queen 👑
