The Breathless:


Name: Mari Fusara

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Speed: 4.6 m/s (115% movement speed)

Height: Tall

Difficulty: Hard

Weapon: Sparking Cord (a bladed steel cable with electricity flowing through)

Successful Basic Attack Animation: The Breathless dangles the cord below her hand as it crackles with energy.

Power: Scorching Propulsion;


Holding the power button for two seconds powers up the thruster on The Breathless’ left hand. While charging Scorching Propulsion, the Breathless moves at 4.0 m/s. For 1.5 seconds, you will not be pushed by the thruster, after which you will accelerate from 4.0 m/s up to 10.5 m/s backwards over the course of two seconds. Any survivors that you collide into will be damaged for a health state. Survivors within three meters of the Breathless (in a 150 degree cone in front of her) during the 1.5 seconds before she is propelled will be hit by the flames and will lose a health state, as well as gaining one of three Scorched tiers. For every tier of Scorched a survivor has, they take six seconds longer to heal. When a Scorched survivor is healed, they lose two tiers of Scorched. Your Scorched tier can be seen in the HUD by the Breathless, as well as by all survivors. When a survivor becomes Critically Burnt, (Scorched tier three) the thruster will instantly down them. While the Breathless is being propelled around the map, she has complete turning control. Hitting obstacles during propulsion will take the Breathless out of her power in a 2 second animation, during which she is slowed down to 3.0 m/s. Scorching Propulsion can be canceled at any time while charging or being propelled.

The Breathless’ Shareable Perks:


Void: Prevents items from spawning in chests upon searching (rummaging still produces items). Survivors within 1/3/5 meters of chests have their auras revealed.


Suffocation: Survivors that enter lockers will be deeply wounded. Upon mending themselves, they become Broken for 40/50/60 seconds.


Drifter: For every 7 seconds not spent in chase, gain a stack up to a maximum of 3/4/5 stacks. Each stack provides a 5% Haste status effect. All stacks are immediately lost once a chase begins.

New General Survivor Perks:


Crutch: After cleansing a dull, Hex, or Rekindled totem, enter a locker for 10 seconds to create a crutch. When that survivor is injured, the crutch will give them a 1%/2%/3% Haste status effect. This item has 30 seconds of durability before it breaks. Only one crutch can be crafted per trial, and the crutch cannot be collected upon escaping.


Makeshift Bandage: Allows a survivor to use a map to heal themselves in 32/30/28 seconds (can not be sped up with healing speed increases, can only be slowed down). The map is consumed after healing. Guarantees finding a green map in the first chest you open.

Brown Add-ons:

Crude Oil:

Decreases maximum speed of Scorching Propulsion by 4.0 m/s.

Gain 100% more Bloodpoints in the Deviousness category.


Solar Panel Shard:

Increases the amount of time before being propelled by 0.5 seconds


Frazzled Wires:

Increases movement speed while charging Scorching Propulsion by 0.1 m/s


Hull Sliver:

Decreases the time required to charge Scorching Propulsion by 0.2 seconds


Yellow Add-ons:

Solid Fuel:

Increases maximum speed of Scorching Propulsion by 0.5 m/s


Stubby Nozzle:

Each tier of Scorched adds an additional 1 second to healing (up from 6 to 7)


Tubular Nozzle:

Survivors who are Scorched are Hindered (-4%) for the next 60 seconds


Fuel Pump:

Decreases the time required to charge Scorching Propulsion by 0.5 seconds


Nylon Threads:

Increases the size of the thruster’s cone of damage by 0.5 meters and 10 degrees


Green Add-ons:

Microscope Lens:

Decreases the width of the exhaust cone by 120 degrees, but increases its range to 12 meters. Requires line of sight to damage survivors.


RP-1:

Increases the maximum speed of Scorching Propulsion by 1 m/s


Conical Nozzle:

Each tier of Scorched adds an additional 3 seconds to healing (up from 6 to 9)


Feeble Breathing Apparatus:

Increases the size of the thruster’s cone of damage by 1 meter and 25 degrees


Leaky Visor:

Scorched survivors are Exhausted for 45 seconds


Purple Add-ons:

Motor Lubricant:

Allows the Breathless to slide against obstacles while being propelled.

Decreases the maximum speed of Scorching Propulsion by 3 m/s.


Welding Torch:

Survivors damaged by the exhaust flames of Scorching Propulsion are given two tiers of Scorched the first time they are hit. Additionally, healing only lowers Scorched by one tier.


Hydrolox Fuel:

Increases the maximum speed of Scorching Propulsion by 2 m/s. Upon colliding with a survivor, they are instantly downed.


Securing Cables:

Restricts turning while being propelled, but will destroy pallets and breakable walls on contact. Destroying a pallet or wall this way does not stop the Breathless’ movement (think LoPro Chains on Billy).


Iridescent Add-ons:

Hull-Breaching Rock:

Survivors you collide with will instantly reach Scorched tier three and will be deeply wounded.


Sigh of Release:

When you stop being propelled, survivors within a 12 meter range will automatically gain two tiers of Scorched.
