French Thana/DH players have it worse !
On my way to report it as a bug I guess, but I thought it was funny so I'm sharing it here.
Believe it or not, the french translation of post-nerf Thanatophobia's description makes it even worse. How so ? It just doesn't mention the bonus for 4 injured survivors.
"For each injured, dying or hooked survivor, all survivors receive a penalty of 2%, until a maximum of 8%, to repair, sabotage and Totem-cleansing speed."
For contrast, this is what the english version looks like.
This is not the first time the French translation is a bit wacky (Since 6.1. Tinkerer's description is still written half in English) but it's still a bit weird that they went out of their way to specify the max 8%.
Also, bonus to show survivors aren't spared from inaccurate descriptions :
"Press Active Ability button while running to gain the Endurance status effect for the next 1 second."
I'm sure no one missed their DH window because of this description... !
(For contrast, English version : )
Someone in the translation department must have a hard time dealing with all these changes, haha !
(Also, please revert Thana at least to its pre-6.1 stage. That nerf was rushed!)

All European languages seem to be left in the dust except for English (apparently the Asian languages are pretty solidly done and well-updated so, good for them). German is hilarious (and outdated), Polish a shitshow (and outdated), I think Rizzo has mentioned aspects of Italian are- you guessed it- outdated.

Please don't revert Thana. The nerf was bad, but 110 second Generators are also bad

Lmao, I'm using the French Dead Hard from now on xd

Sacre blue!!
Baguettes et tromperie!

Hahaha it does literally mean "hard to cook", but as a description of a person it really means "Tough". xD
(Though it does make it funnier when facing a Leatherface with Chili !)

Hmm.. Interesting!
How long is the Dead Hard's window, then? Is the French version correct or is it the English version? I think, we may need a developer or somebody to let us know..

It's def the English version

Definitely? Well, the common sense would presuade me to believe that, but I'd actually like to take a look into the details..

May I add
The italian translations make my brain bleed a little every time I see them
Like, yeah, there are multiple *technically correct* ways to translate certain words from english to italian, but BHVR consistently picks the most obscure and weird ones to do so
It's fun though to mention the italian name of a perk or a killer in the middle of the match just to get a reaction from my SWF, so it's not all a negative

I've seen gameplay of the perk it's absolutely the English version
Plus it's supported by the Asian translations and those are also almost entirely correct

My favourite thing is how in German ever killer is "Der/Die/Das [Name]" based on of the name is masc/fem/neut, except for Nemesis. Nemesis is literally just "Nemesis". Not even Demogorgon gets that treatment- it's "Der Demogorgon"- but Nemesis is literally just Nemesis. And nobody I've spoken to knows why.

The fact that many at BHVR are French-Canadian makes this hilariously odd lol

Same energy haha

Of course you have blue hair and pronouns 🙄

Maybe whoever translated the name in German thought that was his proper name? Like, it would be weird to call The Trapper "Der Evan McMillan"
(Of course I know Nemesis is not his name, but maybe the person translating it to German wasn't aware of that?)
