Aiming Wesker’s Bound like Deathslinger’s shots?

The impression I’m getting is right now Wesker’s Bound collision box size with survivors is maybe on par with Deathslinger’s shots? As in your Bound has to, from the game’s perspective, land squarely on them or it will miss. Wesker’s maximum range on a double Bound is also a few meters longer than Deathslinger’s rifle, which leads me to think that the way to actually aim his Bounds is pretend they are the rifle and lead the shot accordingly, i.e. don’t aim at exactly where the survivor is on the screen but aim slightly off to where you think the survivor will be when the shot reaches them.

I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet though, and personally I’m a terrible shot with Deathslinger anyway so I’m not a good person to be testing this out. But I’m curious if anybody who is a good Deathslinger shooter has played Wesker and noticed if aiming the Bound uses a similar muscle memory to aiming the rifle? (Other than the obvious things like Wesker can “shoot” in two stages around corners and can’t pass through cracks in a wall, etc. I’m talking about simply lining up the shots at long range in the open.)
