Basekit BT: 10s+
It´s way too op and people abuse already with the regular BT. Add Off The Record, like, it feels like Survivors have armours now, every time you hit they have some protection.
You can escape to a pallet, stun the killer and you have time to set a boon to heal faster. It is way too long and too strong. They are protected even during a safe unhook, Survivors find me on my way accidentally and they are still immune to hits.
Also very nice for the end game too... you can go to the gate, open it and then find the hatch, close it, open it again and escape through it.
Meanwhile, The Trapper still does not have its Trapper Bag as basekit.

No the basekit 10 seconds of BT was 100% necessary. Tunneling is a serious problem in this game, and it's great that it got addressed in a proper way. It still doesn't stop people from tunneling, but at least it makes it less effective on average, giving survivors a fair chance to get to a pallet or window.
If you are talking about the perk, then I also see no problem. I mean Off the Record gives survivors the Endurance effect for 80 seconds, BT increasing the endurance and haste effect duration to 20 seconds is more than fine. Tunneling needs to be discouraged.

Before I reply to you, have you ever played The Trapper without "strong" addons? Do you know how it is to walk through the map to pick up a trap from the ground? Do you know how long that takes? Do you know how easy is to deactivate the trap and how much generators can be done?
20 seconds folks, we are talking about 20s. And then you cry about the 0.00001% buffs that Killers get. Imagine knocking a generator 20s every time you kick it.

Yes? They still can body block, then open the gate, pee in the corner and then escape?
Also, what if I did not chase neither the unhooker or the guy on the hook but he came to me? even if accidentally, I hit the guy I have the right to make it count, I wasn´t even chasing them but they have so much endurance that in lingers enough to find the Killer in the other side of the map.

Tunnelling is a made up word. It´s called playing the Killer. Don´t unhook if it´s not safe or the Survivor cannot escape, don´t hide in a rock doing like if the Killed didn´t see you?
What do you want the Killer to do? Killer notices hiding 1m away, waits for you to unhook and because one is not stupid... you go for the injured and easy to take down Survivor. It´s not personal. It´s the efficient stratgegy.
Do you guys go to another Gen after you have completed 25% so to ensure that the seven generators and not just five are repaired?

If they're body blocking you, they're giving you the hit, so you can just go chase them at a minor disadvantage.
It is a little more annoying in the endgame specifically, but other than that it's totally fine and necessary.

Point still stands. OP thinks he deserves a kill because he can count to 10 sec. Unlucky, the change is designed to prevent that.
(On top of this he's plain wrong, you can still tunnel as good as before; good survivors were already playing with OtR anyway and buffed BT doesn't give anything more to them except a slightly longer haste. So with this thread OP is not just showing that he's a tunneler, he's showing that he's a bad tunneler.)

I still haven't been unhooked by someone with the BT perk. If they didn't bring the perk to help the team when basekit was 5s, then I can't see why they'd be more inclined to bring it when basekit is 10s. SWFs might, but they can afford to because they essentially have 16 perks to share among them. But your average player won't see a point.

Have the unhooked survivor completely lose collision with the killer for the duration of their endurance. Then we'll talk

What kill? One still has to get the guy in the hook. Can be unhooked again.
Also maybe don't unhook in my face after 10s when I already saw you nearby. No reason for me to go a wall and do like if I didn't see you.
I am meant to be pressuring gens, I cannot do that if a Survivor or two are coming for the rescue because it makes no sense to do so.
That hook you want to unhook with zero risk meant a generator or two to be repaired, mind you.

Dude this is incredible, what you are asking for, is the game to give you a way to tunnel people, but without making it look like you wanted to tunnel them.
It's your call to decide whether you want to tunnel or not. Not the game's.
Just assume the unhooked person always has OtR it's that simple. So if you want to tunnel, hit them immediately off hook because it's too risky to wait 10s anyway. If you don't want to tunnel then just don't hit a person you have unhooked for the next minute.

I like it. Hit the surv, who got of hook, chase the unhooker. Two persons who are not on gens. One has to mend the other is beeing chased.

I assume this is meant to be about bodyblocking, right? But even in those scenarios, just hit the guy bodyblocking then evaluate who the most vulnerable target is. Worst case scenario is you get a Mend slowdown out of the guy you had to hit, it's really not that big of a deal.
It's not "then we'll talk", just don't tunnel if they aren't bodyblocking, and if they are bodyblocking just handle it. Neither are difficult or game-ending.

The best is by far to hit & chase the unhooked person. Unless they severely outplay you in the chase you'll make the game 3v1 at 1-2 gens and win easily. I win 90% of my games when I tunnel and the remaining 10% are due to losing the chase (due to OtR noise reduction). Tunneling has always been the best way to play even before 6.1.

Then i don't want to hear a single complaint from the bodyblocker when/if we just choose to down and hook them again if they decide to bodyblock. Not a single one

Now that I agree with. Bodyblocking is just saying that you're back in the game and a valid target if the killer deems you a better chase, so there definitely shouldn't be any complaints about the logical result of those actions lol

I play survivor more, but Trapper is my most played killer at all time.
Trapper needs more QoL, but starts with 8 traps is not a way to fix him

Trapper bag wouldn't be needed if bear traps weren't quarantining themselves to the corners of the map. Trapper will always be D tier because he has to walk around and pick up his power constantly
Also we need to keep petitioning BHVR for either an addon or a basekit thing that tints beartraps to fit the colour scheme of the realm you load in on.

Yes, traps should spawn at least 20m away from map's boundary. It will save him alot of time while keeping his traps spread out around the maps. Start with 8 traps would make him 3 Gens every game, which is boring, which is why the addon come with down side.
- Grass is needed in many maps
- There should be a risk of disarming traps
Giving a skill check or 45 degree, missing skill check will trap them. Having an addon that -20 degree, not affected by Unnerving presence
- Escape trap should not be RNG
Giving a skill check of 10 degree, missing a skill check will spawn another one with +5 degree until escape. Having an addon that -5 degree, not affected by Unnerving presence
I know that not everything should be skill check, but it feel more deserved when someone get caught because cant hit skill check, than RNG. Beside, it would make survivors more focus on disarming traps than just M1.

20s is a tad too long imo, especially in endgame, 15s is a sweet spot

Myself in particular, quite a lot, by let's say my Trapper gameplay is non-standard. That's why I pick it.
I haven't counted but it's closer to 3k/4k than 1k. But then again with no add-ons or against a good SWF doing gens... little you can do. Not to mention it's stressful and requires patience until the end to play for the 4k.
And you have to run Corrupt Intervention and red/pink add-ons. Otherwise they will trample you and you will have to leverage the nastiness.
If you have to pick up traps one by one and no add-ons. You can't win.

The objective is to repair 5 generators, not 7. Swapping from a 25% gen to a fresh gen just to jump off it at 25% would mean the objective never gets done. At best, one gen ends up repaired before all four survivors are dead.
The killer equivalent would be to injure all survivors before rotating back to the first survivor to down and hook them. Tunneling being a made-up word doesn't magically make it non-existent.
BT has absolutely nothing to do with Trapper needing buffs. If somebody chooses to bodyblock or hide in plain sight with their BT, that mistake should be punished. Not tunneling doesn't mean playing nice. It just means you don't tunnel.

Survivors have 3 hook states each. Unless you're high mmr, which you definitely are not, you can afford to spread hooks out.

Play Mori Myers, and turn that body-block into a free kill. That'll learn 'em!
..or just use stalk to remove collision and totally bypass the body block

Basekit BT is a completely fine addition to the game because of how bad camping and tunneling is. The only thing I'd change about it is make a person lose collision during the duration, to prevent people body blocking it when you're trying to go for someone else.
