Why does literally every Nemesis tunnel and camp?
This is barely hyperbole. Literally every Nemesis I go against just tunnels and camps as aggressively hard as possible. I often joke with my friends when we go against Nemesis that they're gonna get camped and tunneled if Nemesis downs them; and then, like clockwork, that's exactly what happens, every single time. It's like parody at this point.
People joke about Bubba camping, but most of the Bubbas I go against are willing to actually play normal matches. Virtually every Nemesis I face just spends literally the entire match chasing/camping one person.

Nemesis is a very time inefficient Killer with little-to-no 1v4 pressure
12 -
The whole "having to hit survivors 3 times to down them" thingy is really counterproductive in regard of tunneling/camping.
Thats why.
6 -
I don't.
If Darnold and Jimberly are having a bad day, though, they definitely will.

if nemo doesnt get t2 quickly hes an m1 with zombies (so pretty much just trapless trapper with next to no difference), so his best option is get someone out and see how the games going after that
if he gets his t2 quickly then he has a better chance, but still his power is really only there for breaking pallets since you dont want to have to hit a survivor 3 times a chase, so getting someone out is still the best option

Both of these beg the question, why main Nemesis if his power is so bad that the only way to make use of it is to tunnel/camp? It also makes me wonder why BHVR thinks making killers whose powers fall at either extreme on the spectrum is a good idea.
Like, genuinely, who thought Nemesis' power was a good idea? Infection serves no purpose on Nemesis, and it's sad.

I don't unless you're a S.T.A.R.S. Are you a S.T.A.R.S?

I don´t think there are many "Nemesis Mains" out there. At least not anymore. His whole addon set is terrible. Zombies to rng. Horrible time efficiency. People probably just play him for a daily and then go back to their mains.
There even was a Otz challenge, where he tried to only use his power as Nemesis and not use m1. Long story short, he ended up downing survivors with m1.

Nemesis was apparently "unfun" to play against when he only had to hit Survivors 2 times
1 -
Nemesis needs 3 hit to down a surv with his power, or 2 but is a normal 4.6 m1 killer.
By the time you reach max power, all the gens will be done, or just 2/1 left.

it does not take that long to get to tier 3 lol
0 -
Ok you get tier 3 but you did no pressure
0 -
you should be getting tier 3 very easily and naturally by just using his power
1 -
Blame hss design. He needs T2 asap, but requires 3 hits using his power. The hit box on the tentacle is small and easily dodged.
In short, his design is horrible and equates to little pressure. Some players counter this by tunneling the first survivor out asap. Now you have pressure.
He needs a rework. The T Virus should have more of an impact so it is worth the 3 hits.

I don't.
But I will say - Nemmy has some massive design flaws. Janky zombies and the fact that he requires extra hits to down someone.

It's a killer that literally has AI helpers doing his job for him. I love going against a tunneling, camping Nemesis that's still able to pressure gens on the other side of the map because of ######### zombies.
He's still among the least fun killers in the game to go against. Between literally all of them hard tunneling and camping, the obnoxious anti-loop power, his audio and animations being broken, and zombies winning chases and pressuring gens for free, I would honestly rather just play against Nurse.
It is really not that difficult to hit tier 2, at which point you have an incredibly obnoxious anti-loop power.
The gens definitely won't all get done if you just spend the entire match chasing one person and then standing in front of their hook.

You mean the 2 brainless idiots that barely ever pressure Generators and more often get stuck on oxygen molecules? Yeah, they need nerfs
4 -
Eh getting to tier 3 isnt hard. As long ad you have tier 2 youll be fine
1 -
Pyramid head would like a word about terrible add-ons, lol

They don't need to be nerfed. They need to be deleted, along with Nemesis. Scrap the whole killer. Delete it all and start over.
No. Learn what "hyperbole" means and understand that I'm using "literally" colloquially to express emphasis.

Hunting requires practice to become proficient at. Chasing the same person off the hook doesn't. Simple as that.

The game as a whole has turned into a tunnel fest, it’s never going to change so you either cope with it or move on! That’s the best advice I can give
1 -
"This is barely hyperbole" is an obvious acknowledgement that I'm being slightly hyperbolic.

3 Hit chases, little to no map pressure, dont have a power until t2... like the game isnt remotely playable until t2 and then it only gets tolerable at t3.
1 -
Oh yeah, there are definitely a lot of killers with terrible addons out there.
Honestly, I think having addons that just increase the range/duration/amount of uses of a power are bad.
Addons should allow for different playstyles like Myers addons. He isn't a particularly strong killer. But extremely fun to play and verse. When he uses certain addons.
All killers should have something like that. Instead of just range addons.

Because it works.

Because he's true to RE lore. he kept tunneling me in RE3 also (the old one, because in the new one he's a joke)
0 -
Well, gimme context, because sometimes tunneling and camping is completely justified.
But Nemmies are usually tryhards though.

Most Nemesis players are bad. Simple as that. He's on the easier side of things concerning killer so a bunch of bad players pick him up.
0 -
you mean Kyle and Samantha right?

I know what I said, and I said Benry and Cruisie.
1 -
Oh no..
hes gone to the next stage...

My power increases exponentially with my alzheimers.
3 -
Not only that, but when he was in early beta they didn't have his tentacle cause speed boost. It was deemed overpowered and the testers threw a fit about it. So the "bug" about him causing speed on infection because a "working as intended" on the PTB.

Atleast it's fun to punch people with Nemesis though 🤭
0 -
broooo literally all the time like literally all nemesis players literally tunnel and literally camp bro its so literally annoying literallyyyyyy
0 -
The context is that 90% of Nemesis players I face just spend the entire match tunneling and camping people out one at a time. It doesn't matter if there's five gens left or only one gen left, they will relentlessly chase only a single player and then proceed to camp them.

How was he a joke in the new one?
0 -
S.T.A.R.S.!
0 -
because most of the encounters were scripted, and areas where he was actively chasing and patrolling were very few. While in the old one he was tunneling quite a bit :P
0 -
I thought he was awesome especially in inferno mode. He constantly dodges your attacks. His appearances were scripted but im not sure how thats a bad thing in my opinion
0 -
Yeah I liked the new one also. Just when we talk about Nemesis, he wasn't present through the game that much as he was in the old one. Sure there were some intense encounters here but it was just for a short while before another scripted encounter and he basically didn't hunt us through the map so much like he did in the old game. And of course Clock Tower part was missing also... so I just missed the style of the old Nemesis. as the big guy who is always looking for you
So he was "tunneling" us far more in the old one (if we use DbD language) :))
In the new one I enjoyed the Hospital part very much, but the rest of the areas were a bit underwhelming, although we had no Nemesis in the hospital, it felt more like Resident Evil 3.

I know why but will probably get banned for saying it
