Dear DbD Developer team
As we all know, your game has some issues. some are big, some are small, but i think we can all agree on that the biggest issue being gen rushing. And i know thats not easy to fix, but PLEASE stop trying to add killers who fight genrushing and instead fight the problem itself.
Honestly, we have had a total of 3 killers right now whose only purpose is to slow the game down. And i dont want to say that they fail in their duty to slow the game down. actually, they are, what ive seen so far, all pretty effective in that. However, thats already it. They are weak in pretty much every other aspect of the game...
So ive decided to open up a new killer cathegory besides the hunters, the trackers and the defenders. I call them "the game slowers". So here is my new killer classification, with some commentary on the killers ive put in the game slower cathegory:
The Hunters:
-Nurse
-Billy
-Huntress
-Michael (tier 2 + 3)
-Clown
-Spirit

The Trackers:
-Wraith
-Freddy
-Doctor
-Michael (tier 1)

The Defenders:
-Trapper
-Hag
-Leatherface

The Game Slowers:
-Freddy (i know ive also put him in the tracker cathegory, but he just fits perfectly in both of these. He is really good at finding survivors and sleeping survivors really slows down the overall progress the game makes. however, thats all he is good for. he sucks at chases and map pressure, which, in the current meta, is a huge problem.)
-Pig (probaply the best out of them. her traps were designed around slowing the game down and they do that pretty effectively, IF the survivors dont find the key asap and get rid of the trap within seconds. However, pig is not too good at tracking survivors, even though she can sneak up on them, but due to her ridiculously low FoV while crouching, its sometimes pretty hard to spot them. she also has some mindgame potential in the chase cathegory, as she can ambush survivors when crouching, giving her a short speed boost and catching unaware survivors around pallets. however, she also lacks map pressure. she is not really a bad killer, but she isnt good neigther.)
-Legion (Freddys new friend at the low end of the killer ranking. So, the main idea of him was to build him around the new healing nerf, as he can quickly injure survivors and force them to heal, once he leaves them alone. However, the "mending" action is not considered a healing action, so it does not get affected by anti healing perks to slow down the speed or to spot them during their mending action, which alone makes him a lot less viable. besides that, it only takes very few seconds to completely get rid of the new status effect this killer is build around, rendering it pretty useless most of the time. also also, this does not help in a chase at all, other than the first, easy hit, which may be usefull to get survivors off the gens, but it does ######### in a chase. the whole point of him vaulting the pallets and windows so fast is to get the survivors into the deep wound status effect, but afterwards you can eigther be a 110%mms M1 killer (which complpetely sucks btw) or you can hit them 5 tmes with your power, which also takes ages. so in short: this killer SUCKS at hunting and he sucks even more in map pressure. and, due to the current meta being the looping meta, to these tow cathegorys being the two most important cathegorys in the whole game, he really deserves his spot as 2nd worst killer in the game.)

As you could see, all 3 of these killers are actually pretty good at slowing the game down, yet, and we all know the killer rankings, they are ALL on the low end of the list.
And this is where i want you, the developers of the game, to take a look at this and rethink your strategy! cause what does it do for us when we can slow the game down, but we cant catch them? the whole point of slowing the game down is to give hunters more time to catch the survivors, BUT when the killer takes more time in hunting, there is no point in slowing the game down, as the others probaply already removed your effect from them and are now back on the gens, so its taking you much longer than the hunters to catch them, while its also harder and more annoying.
And i support your decision to make fun killers instead of tryhard killers, yet i barely find any of the weak killers fun at all. i mean, where is the fun in endless loops? where is the fun in not being able to catch them at all? where is the fun in losing every game? i do not understand.
Please devs, stop creating killers around broken game mechanics and start creating killers with new and fun powers, such as doctor, trapper, billy, huntress, michael, wraith, etc.
killers like legion, freddy, pig or leatherface are good in what they are supposed to prevent, but they suck in the overall game! as an example, Leatherface is GREAT at defending his hooks, yet its very hard to get any.
i hope you can understand my problem and im really looking forward to the next killer!
also, i want you to know that i always buy a DLC when it comes out, simply due to the fact that i appreciate all the work you've put into it and i also want to thank you guys for that now! THANKS FOR CREATING NEW, AWESOME CONTENT, DEVS!
im still hoping that legion will get some, much needed, buffs.
and i just wanted to give my thoughts about the newest dlc and the overall problem i have with newer killers (even though spirit and clown were both strong and unique in their power, but ive noticed that over the long run)
