We are investigating an issue in the game that causes strobing/flashing lights, and are focused on fixing it as soon as possible. Some players may be impacted by this issue and experience discomfort from it, so we recommend taking proper precautions.

And until we fix this issue, we recommend that players with photosensitivity, or who have an epileptic condition or have had seizures of any kind consult their physician before playing.

What if the entity is on the killer side but wants survivors to have a better chance at winning?

I think the entity is being smart so it has the realms more on the surviver side so they can have more hope.it also explains why there is flashlights, pallets, and closets

My take on it is that both the killer and survivor side are here to "entertain" the entitiy. That's the goal of the scoring system if you look at it; survivors that play super cautious and don't engage with the killer or other survivors score less even if they survive. Killers that just camp a kill while ignoring gens score less because it's boring to the entity (and to us, but that's for a different forum).

The Entity is, in my opinion, a very messed up evil being that is more or less treating us all like we're toys in the sandbox.

Also, the entity feeds off of powerful emotions, whether that is anger, fear, etc. A survivor that isn't suffering a lot isn't a good meal, and a killer that isn't feeling murderous isn't a good meal either. It is why the entity has tortured some of the killers to make them more likely to kill for it.

There has to be an element of "play" involved, because its current method of feeding is not the most efficient way. It would be easier to understand what survivors fear most and create a realm where it can bunch a large amount together and feast.

An example could be a large battleground where everyone sees the other side as demons, and despite the horrific atrocities, pain and torture endured through the many ways of death, the people reappear with a singular drive of survival and continue to fight, not always remembering what happened to them, but remembering the pain and a false knowledge that one more push could be the victory they need. Feeds hope, fear and reduces the amount of effort.

So it has some need for entertainment. But it also has weaknesses inside it, which may mean it is still unable to fully control the realms, so maybe the trials are the best it can muster, without causing too big a rift. That would be the difference with it having a superior intelligence or a more animalistic intelligence: does it create these realms for fun, or is it because it's the safest way for it to feed.
