Always have a looping game plan
Whenever you’re working on a gen or going for a save, pay attention and identify the map tiles/loops nearby. Think about how long it will take to get where you want to be so you know how early/late you can leave. You should create a game plan in your head of which structures you want to use and how you might chain together resources.
When the Killer comes to interrupt, you don’t want to make last second panic decision. Stay calm, collected and in control of the situation. As a Survivor, you have most of the power as to where you take the Killer and how your chases play out. Plan ahead and don’t get caught off guard.

This is why Windows is such a great perk that's very common these days
It basically cuts out the middle man of having to identify what's around you. Obviously you still need to use your resources well but being able to use a perk and go "ok there's nothing near me but a lot of pallets over there" can help survivor immensely.

Windows is good for more casual players. Alert is good for solo queue Veteran players that know map layouts… but not which pallets are getting thrown. Plus it gives bonus info on which gens are being contested.

Any Means Necessary is better than Alert for knowing which pallets are gone IMO
It might not show the aura of the killer when they kick a gen but knowing which pallets are being dropped and then destroyed is huge. Being able to reset a resource every once in a while is also really good. Alert is good though, I just think AMN is better for that aspect of it
