The new tome lore is a big bombshell for The Artist
It reveals a lot about the Artist without it being her own tome. Key points:
SPOILERS
• She was an experiment of the Black Veil which didn’t go as planned.
• Her mother isn’t dead, and the Black Veil didn’t want them to make contact.
• Her father was paid to work for them and keep an eye on his daughter.
• Her brother was killed by the Black Veil.
• The Black Veil didn’t like what she was doing so tried to take everything she and her group made and destroy it.
• The Crows were an illusion?* made by the Entity. This explains why crows appeared in a part of the world where there aren’t any (that type of species)
These are all very big points for her character and I’m amazed that they have her so much in this one entry that isn’t even tied to her tome/lore directly. What are your thoughts?

Wow, didn't know about the Black Veil connect, but yea I totally thought the Crows were sent by the Entity. There were a lot of players downright ANGRY about them putting crows in South America when they aren't there IRL.. Screaming about how incompetent they were for not researching where crows actually exist... and I was like "Are you kidding? The Entity more than likely sent the crows, it can send them anywhere it pleases..."

Well, that explains the whole no crows in Chile fiasco.

Yeah it was pretty obvious they were due bcuz of the entity, people just like to complain for the sake of complaining
