Possible idea to help solo q... GTFIH
Outside of the base-kit kindred and buffing DS, which was needed yesterday. Something I thought would be a good incentive for survivors to not be absolute potatoes in matches, is a bonus multiplier...
Meaning for every survivor that escapes, the team gets a BP bonus like .5 or etc. to their net gain in the match. This would encourage teamwork and provide a tangible incentive (other than just hook farming) to motivate solo q to not play selfishly.
I think a big issue in the game is that there's a limit on playing altruistically, and a prioritization on individual survival.

Giving extra points won't change genuine bad players. If they can't make it until the end right now and don't even know how to do gens, they won't do it with a bonus BP in play, trust me.

This isn't about bad players, it's about tangibly rewarding teamwork from decent/good players.
Most newbies are going to get stomped anyways. This system would just ensure there is an actual incentive to get more of your team out regardless of skill or playstyle.
Survivors are much more likely to cooperate and play strategically with a BP bonus on the line. no?

I've thought for awhile that maybe something like a good sportsmanship reward that players can choose to award post-game might help. Just a solo exclusive though, since swfs will naturally just award their friends lol like you get 5k - 10k bp or maybe shards that you can choose to give to the killer or a team mate. I don't think there's anything wrong with not escaping, so I dunno about rewards around that, but certainly being able to encourage team play would go far I think

No, survivors are already getting a %100 BP bonus incentives up time 24/7 (at least where I'm at from what I seen) giving survivors even more BPs where they can farm like 90k BPs a match w/o any offerings while killers are getting half or only a third the amount of BPs. If that ever happens have to give killers more BP gains or just leave it alone as is.

I'm absolutely in line with doing something similar for killers as well, it would only be fair.
After the tunneling/camping has been addressed, of course.
