Trapper buff suggestion
Buffs:
-Make him start with all traps.
-When disarming a trap you need to hit a hard skillcheck. Failing it would injure the survivor.
-Add Add-ons that apply more effects if you fail a skill check.
-Make the traps slightly darker. (Not tar-bottle level of dark)
Nerfs:
-Faster trap disarming.
-If you are further away than 32 meters from a trap, you dont get notification that someone disarmed it (you get notification if someone stepped into it)
-Sabotaging traps is back. (Toolbox and Saboteur)
Changes:
-Sabotaging now destroys a trap for 30 seconds and after that it comes back into Trappers bag to be set up again

Buff:
I hear he has a really nice diamond cosmetic from the dating sim Hooked on You game. I haven’t seen it yet, but my loins tell me we need it in Dbd.
He needs no nerfs and should start with at least 4 traps and have faster setting speed. The add-on that lets him start off with all traps just needs to remove the “can’t pick up placed traps” part.

If you want to buff the trapper, make the red addon "Iridescent Stone" basekit. And no nerf needed.

Actually I’d rather make his purple add-on that starts him with all his traps but he can’t move them once placed be basekit. That variant playstyle is way more fun than the basekit version since it really speeds up his early game. Then you could replace that purple add-on with a new one that starts traps on the map but you can move them around, basically letting him play with his current base kit if you like that style instead.
