How long until killers complaining makes them backpedal?
So, everyone knows this forum is killer sided. You can already see the millions of threads howling to the moon screaming that, because Behaviour didn't just let killers instantly end the game and get a mori for free, the game is going to die.
How long until they announce that, for some mysterious reason, "nevermind all we said, the recovery speed goes from 45 seconds to 180 seconds now, this will give killers slightly more room to just down everyone and instantly end the game"
Do you think this update will -actually- go through considering how killer-sided Behaviour is?

It’s almost like an infinite self pickup that kills an entire strategy that makes for interactive gameplay because the killer risks losing a hook state for pressuring other survivors that have to go pick the slug up is a bad idea.

Nope. They'll probably just remove the slugging fix and keep the free game winning moris.

Behaviour isn't particularly killer or survivor sided. I think if they change this it'll simply be to adjust that 45 second time if it turns out to be too short.

Also shouldn’t we be happy about this all the bandaid perks that fixed tunneling and slugging are finally being removed where finally ripping the band aids off
but yet people aren’t happy and they will complain about band aid fixes and the cycle will continue

Really, instead of complaining about, they should be providing constructive criticism on why 45 seconds is too short. There has to be some give and take. Either the whole thing gets scrapped and everybody gets nothing, or both sides get something.
Without the basekit UB, killers would say things like "Just bring Unbreakable", "Don't get found", "Git gud", just like they've done with other problems like camping and tunneling. Before BT became basekit, it was bring BT. With camping, it's "Bring reassurance", "Rush gens", "Don't get found", while refusing to acknowledge that these strategies, while valid, are not fun.
I'm not saying all killers are like this, but it is a generalization, and if the shoe fits...
Above all else, the game should be fun as it is just a game.

I hope that BHVR will properly test this new mechanic before outright declaring broken and nerf it to the ground.
It is a trend for every single buff that survs receive to have an outcry on forums demanding nerfs or complete removal.

Agreed both tunneling and camping needs to be made less viable and best stragedy should be going for chases which is most fun for both sides.

My highest prestige character is Claudette at 9.
I'm a pretty selfish solo player that crutches a bit on self-care/med-kits/etc, and she's the best survivor, anyway (SPCA shirt).
Still blows me away that people have so many prestige levels, but I realize it is easier to prestige post patch.

They are ABSOLUTELY going to remove self-pickup because of the whining. Must inflate those kill rates!
