I absolutely despise Huntress
I hate playing as her.
I hate playing against.
I don't think there's enough rotten things I can say about her than expresses how much I hate her, the only aspect I enjoy of her even remotely is facing a cross-map Huntress, it's fun and tense when you see all your teammates losing health states constantly, but facing Huntress's that good is extremely rare, and more often than not you see them stacking slowdown and doing the hatchet + M1 combo for every down. I don't think there's a single other killer that makes me want to give up more than her, I'd take 10 Alch Ring, Blighted Crow, four slowdown Blights over her any day, just dreadfully boring to verse, and stupid hard to play as against teams who know how to do gens.

Huh. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. While camping hatchet-into-M1 Huntresses are annoying, as are iri head Huntresses who just hug your back and then instadown you, I generally find her one of the more fun killers to verse in chase. Had one snipe me through a hole in shack today, which was pretty cool.

I should slap you for the disrespect to my girl. But seriously that's to bad I love going against her dodging huntress hatches is one of my fav thing to do in game. Most huntress stack slowdown because she's good in chase but has problems with map pressure especially with her speed. Even when I run full aura perks survivors will just blow threw gens and I'm not a great console huntress but I'm pretty decent. So if your not really good with a killer you have to stack slowdown or the game ends before you even have a chance to try and figure out the powe.

I mean I loathe Huntress too but I definitely wouldn't want 10 Blights. I don't want to see any killer all the time, unless they are brand new. Huntress is popular so I see her a lot and every time I hear her lullaby I want to cry

Blight is imo the peak killer to verse, barring addons the better player always comes out on top, even if you go down, the amount of time you wasted versus him can win games, Huntress feels like old insta saw Billy but less broken, still annoying though.

I hate how she plays without addons, but with addons she completely reverses and becomes a completely different character, all those cooldown/speedup addons should be combined into an iri because they completely change her playstyle, maybe with a drawback to them I'd enjoy facing her more, her kit would be completely gutted though so she'll have to remain as a killer I begrudgingly tolerate.

I wish more killers were like Huntress. Strong but fair to face. Since 2020 it feels most killers boil down to "press M2 to instantly zone survivor".

I hate her lullaby but her gameplay is fine imo, there are so many annoying killers that come to mind before huntress.. legion, pinhead, trickster, plague, artist.. half of the cast are not that fun to verse basically

It's not.
Huntress slows down to a snail pace to prepare a hatchet, takes 1,25 seconds to release one at minimum speed and also has a harsh speed punishment if you decide to raise a hatchet and not throw it.
Compare that to Nemesis for example. If a survivor goes through a pallet you raise the tentacle and if the survivor decides to drop the pallet he takes a M2, and if he decides to continue the loop he takes a M1 because Nemesis has a very short wind up and cooldown for his power. A Huntress in this situation can't get a M1 because she actually has good designed cooldowns.
The same applies for Artist, Trickster, Dredge, Slinger... basically killers whose counterplay boils down to WWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

She's okay, I guess! For me, it really depends on the type of player and what addons they're running - which I guess goes for all killers in the game, really.
My two least favorite things about Huntress are:
- Iri Head: especially when they can't aim properly so they just wind their hatchet and tail you until they know they're close enough to guarantee the hit.
- Camping Huntress's who just camp the hook area and throw hatchets at anyone who goes in for the save.
I have mad respect though for Huntress's who don't use the above tactics and are able to make really crazy, cross-map snipes.

Blight is really a mixed bag, the Blights I face(and I rarely face any unfortunately) typically run chill perks and addons, whereas I hear from my friends who play in SWF's that they only face sweaty Blights.

I think she's the best designed ranged killer, but ranged killers in general are not very fun to go against or play as since they rely too much on the map being open with low obstacles, and forcing survivors into lose-lose situations (M1 if they keep running, M2 if they vault / drop a pallet). So it's more a matter of luck than skill in most cases which never feels good. The unfair hatchet hitboxes are really the only thing I can say is uniquely annoying about her.

Her cooldown and speed up change them by fractions of a second. Her base full wind-up time is 3 second with both addons it becomes 2.4 and cooldown I the same it goes from 2 to 1.6. The only real switch up I'd the bandages and why would you want to play m1 huntress with no hatches.

I enjoy dodging her hatchets but that's about it. Sadly I've been getting alot of her lately after a period of barely seeing her, hoping I go back to barely seeing her again because I'm not a fan either

I'd probably agree with Danielmaster87. Huntress is very much about holding-w and line of sight. It is difficult to dodge her projectile when the player using her is good at <12 meters. the m/s slowdown is somewhat exaggerated as drawback for her. Nemesis's range is a lot more limited and his gameplay boils down to you disrespecting his tentacle which allows you to extra loops in a lot of cases or him disrespecting pallets and you gaining a small opportunity to pallet stun him. All those other killer are way easier to loop.

I have always found Huntress unfair to verse. Large hitboxes, 5 hatchets, ability to hold hatchets waiting for opportune hits. You don't see her so much for nothing.

I am a blight main but I do play survivor decently. Only killer's I can't stand are huntress and clown.

The answer to that is a resounding NO!Survivors would rather there be no killer at all and just run around and do gens and walk the gate.They claim they want chases but hide all game now.If they do want to engage killer it’s with meta perk and broken map offerings.A killer like huntress who is slow and has to depend on skill with hitting shots ,they still don’t want to face because if they lose their ego is destroyed because the killer used skill to make hatchet shots.Any killer that can win is op and they hate ,any killer below blight and nurse are boring.Survivors should just play Pou games in their phone because they don’t want competition.

I have never been a big fan either, as others have said the hitboxes and the janky server hit registration make a ranged killer like this frustrating at times. Though her slow movement can be exploited to give her a miserable time, she is one of the OG killers I enjoy less than others
