How many pallets are on Gideon? lol
Anyone want to count or take a guess? This isn't even including the long loops on maps that can be chained. Badham is bad when the basement isn't in the main building, but Gideon is just pallet after pallet.
So...anyone want to count how many pallets are on the map?

I once got my "break 40 pallets" challenge done over there, in a single match.

I once had a Gideon with 38 pallets but I heard there can spawn over 40.

Not all the pallets are good pallets tho. Some are useless so there is that…but Gideon’s rework made it much nicer to play as a survivor

I got my quest "break 50 pallets" on Gideon. I knew I could do it faster on that map so I had to bring the offering for it. Took me a couple of matches.

Well going off guaranteed spawns you always have 2 god pallets near basement/bathroom, right outside that is a jungle gym with another. Right above that is another 2 very safe pallets. You have a pallet right after the huge drop (near freezer room) if you go the other direction to the freezer room you'll have a pallet. You also always get a pallet at both exit gates, another pallet next to a drop in the corner of the map, there is also always an i wall loop (what I call it but they always have a pallet) and then you always have a pallet upstairs near the meat grinder, and another upstairs near the actual staircase in the corner.
So that's 13 just guaranteed spawns that dont slightly move, each section can have a pallet in them and/or a pallet between them. You also get a pallet up or downstairs next to every staircase, theres about 5 stairs? Not sure on how many sections. This is just off the top of my head
So to your answer, too many especially as 99% are safe pallets or god pallets.

The map is certainly a pallet hell regardless of how many pallets there are, most are way too open to mind game, and they chain super easily. I get that breaking the pallets creates large deadzones, but the map balance just feels all over the place and it doesnt feel good to play imo.
But from my experience, I reckon there are about 30-40 pallets, 25-35 of which are safe/god pallets.

Iv been playing the game awhile and at a high level so this sorta stuff just comes naturally on maps that dont have many variations or loop tiles lol.
I would count but I haven't played in awhile and I'm currently out too, but yeah alot of safe pallets got added with the rework

If you haven't played in a while, no need to go back to count for this. i can just get good as killer and figure out how to deal with gideon. Crap, just got gideon as a map again...

Its not always the same, but the highest amount I counted on it so far was 34

Well honestly it's not really in your control as killer especially certain ones there's 0 reason for survivors to lose on this map against 80% of the killer roster, this map I have run a killer for 20mins (made a post on it because I still lost as my team just hid all game lol)
Certain killers have different things they can do to help with some of the loops but for the most part its relying on bad survivors not doing gens or wasting pallets quickly creating dead zones. I guess blood favors kinda counters this map a little as it can cover most of both floors but it's a hex so not reliable
