No way out unfair, I run hyperfocus and stakeout though
Just played this game, I was doing kind of iffy in the beginning but then got a kill right before the exit gates were activated, I had No Way Out and instead of hiding or doing something smart they all rushed me and tried to do crazy hook saves on eachother when I would down them. Then proceeded to call me trash, a camper, and even accuse me of hacks because I saw them standing on a hill and "Why would you even have a reason to look on a hill!?!?", I still think this little gem right here was the funniest though.

Sore losers are idiots, no doubt.

Salt for the french fries <3 Love it~ imma try that combo next time...

Speaking of French, I've noted that French players tend to produce the most amount of salt.

Lol really? Do you play in the France region?

No way out is probably one of the fairest perks ever designed
To get maximum value from it, you need to hook everyone once which can be hard if you're not stomping the survivors
3 -
It literally rewards you for hooking multiple people. That's like someone getting mad at Dying Light or Grim Embrace.
6 -
That's hilarious, they are both equally fair.
NWO rewards spreading hooks and basically guarantees a 4k when you close the Hatch. It also gives you a hard minute at endgame if it was a close match, giving you enough time to hook and defend or pursue before they can prep the gates. It does suck though when no one taps the gate ASAP after the last gen was popped in soloq.
Stakeout Hyperfocus is only synergistic when the Killer is nearby but not in chase. When you chase the Surv they don't get Stakeout, and when they are slugged/on hook they don't get it. It basically punishes Killer tunnel-vision in chase for not disrupting nearby gens. (Not tunneling, but tunnel-vision, as in not having awareness beyond the chase.) Alternatively as for when the Killer didn't run enough intel perks on people or gens, and lets them sit nearby.

Yeah, unfortunately. I know I can change but at least I can understand when they try to sneak insults in French. Always fun.

I get hate after every game. Even if I don’t camp or tunnel at all. It’s always some kind of excuse as to why I won. Or just flat out hate messages lol.

If you didn't respond with "No Way!" I'mma be disappointed.

I dont think hyperfocus+stakeout should work with toolboxes, besides that its ok i think.
2 -
Hard agree it should be the autodidact of gens. I never use it with toolboxes unless I need to make up for a facecamping Bubba/other or sweaty Nurse/Blight thinking I'll get them again.
Yesterday I fought the same facecamping Huntress 3/5 matches back to back and she was acting like she was skilled in missing half her hatchets at hook in melee range.

Oh, I didn't know it was you, hi again 🖐️🖐️🖐️
And that's fun, I didn't think of French people as huge gamers, as stupid as that sounds.

Yeah I noticed after too. Funny that.
Oh we are. And a bit too toxic for my own taste.

Personally i like Fast Track, little jimmies getting hooked means i can do gens faster without the killer calling me a gen rusher.

Lmao "your strong perks are unfair but I'm allowed to use as many meta perks as I want". 😂
NWO isn't even that strong. The best thing to do when you realize a killer has it is to play super safe/stealthy until it's over. If survivors become too altruistic and run at the killer, they're pretty much giving them free hooks/kills.

Okay, okay. Devils Advocate 😈
No Way Out is unfair in 1v1 situations. Three gens left, last man standing. Killer closes the hatch, then it activates when a survivor taps a door. It’s an automatic game ender.
1 -
No Way Out requires build up tho. In this 1v1 situation, your team should've been better. And tbh, in 1v1, hatch closed, you're not supposed to have a fair chance of survival.
0 -
At that point the killer has sacrificed three survivors, found the hatch first, and closed it after playing with with at most 3 perks until endgame. Isn't that enough? If you feel it's unfair what would you propose to make it "fair"?

No Way Out timer activates when hatch is closed. The survivor does not have to tap a gate in a 1v1. Killer still gets the use of the ability, but not the alert.
1 -
At the end of the day, it's not important who played better. You got the W, and that is all that matters - making the most of an opportunity.
Also, I never get people who message saying: "God, yer so baaaad" and such; they're basically saying they're even worse!
1 -
That is incorrect. The End game collapse starts when the hatch is closed, No Way Outs timer starts when the unfortunate survivor touches the exit gate switch, which means if they wait too long to start opening it(about half the EGC timer) they'd better have a backup key and Hope if they don't want to be a snack for the giant spider in the sky.

Lolwut? I was replying to your question on what I would change to make NWO more “fair” in 1v1 situations. That’s why I replied to you and your question.
Proposed changes are not what currently are in the game or are “correct.”

I thought you were misunderstanding the perk, my bad. You do realize that would make the perk worthless? All the survivor would have to do is go for the gate. And if you caught them at the gate they could run for the hatch. With no alert you'd have the same 50/50 you have without the perk. What would be the point of running it then?

Sorry for the misunderstanding, long day.

That combo is overestimated.. not everyone touch their config file to plays with V-sync off and unlocked frames, its much harder to constantly hit the great skill with input lag.
