Shouldnt DBD be already working on steam deck?
Seems that steam os is already compatible with easy anti cheat...
I wonder why is not already tha case with dbd? Is it really this complicate?

I have no idea. The files are already in the EAC folder. BHVR just hasn't enabled Proton compatibility on the EAC developer site. VHS works perfectly on my Linux image. DbD is the only reason I still have a Windows 10 drive. Every other game I play works on Linux, VHS/Overwatch/FF14/etc.
My guess is they don't want to hire support staff to cover Linux/Steam Deck queries, and they have a hard enough time with stable releases on Windows alone. Linux users typically figure things out on their own though

My friend recently got her Steam deck and was looking to get back into DBD with the new RE content.
She did not get back into DBD and found other things to play on her deck.
