In Game Chat (Why hasn't it happened yet)

I can't believe DBD has been out for 6 years and they still haven't implemented in game chat to bridge the gap between SoloQ and SWF.

BHVR's responded to this a few times and being completely honest their justification is ridiculous. Mandy has mentioned a few times it's due to global servers/players, so you may get paired with someone who doesn't speak you language.

1. This is an issue for every online multiplayer, and yet the majority of games include it.

2. There is a solution. In Game Chat/Commands. Take Rocket League for example.

Rocket league has prompts such as 'Take the shot', 'Defending' etc. Which translate to the language of the player. So if someone uses the prompt in their language, players on their own team (and other team) can still read it if they're not fluent in the same language.

I can't see why this can't be implemented, it wouldn't be as useful as voice chat, but a great start. Here are just a few commands that could help in some situations (granted they're not perfect, but you get the idea):

- Someone go for the save

- I'm going for the save

- I'm on a gen

- Find / Repair a gen

- Start a chase

- I'm being chased

- Killer coming

- Find Totem

TLDR: BHVR don't want voice chat, so implement text chat commands.
