Ok, so i guess this is what killers are doing now, ya'll just DC when the survivor is going out the exit gate thinking we won't get the points or whatever. Now, i don't normally bash on killers (because i play both sides) but this right here is down right idiotic, it doesn't make sense to screw yourself out of points just because the game did not go your way. Yes it can be frustrating, but don't go out of your way to DC when people are getting out.

This killer was a famous streamer as well, who's name i've blurred out for obvious reasons. When i saw the name i remembered him as i have gone against him at least once, this would be the 2nd time i have survived the 1st time i got lucky as he was a good nurse. So i went into his chat and asked him "What was that Dc there?" and he states "If you think i dc'ed then you're in the wrong stream jonathan". Now i don't know about you but when i see a 0 like you do in the screenshot, that normally means the killer dc'ed. This streamer also went on to mock me and banned me from the chat after i said "Well, with a tone like that, i would have thought you were mad myself, don't get your panties in a bunch" which i could see was a little provoking, but still, you could have simply waited until the end game came up and then leave immediately, no one would care.

TLDR: DC'ing when survivors are leaving is stupid and you shouldn't do it. Streamer screwing himself out of points because he's mad for whatever reason

To be fair he's probably had a million survivors D/C on him.

They D/C right before their third hook anyway, so they screw themselves out of points.

Honestly seeing how many survivors throw a tantrum everytime you beat them I'm not surprised that killers are doing the same thing.

And you don't tell us anything else, so i will assume the match went like a normal DbD match.

While i don't support such free use of DC, you did what you needed to escape and then got your 5k.
You were not affected in any way.
Them skipping out on BP is not for you to decide, whether you think it's right or wrong.
Of course, if they do it too much, they'll get banned.

This person's also WAY more calm than most DCers i see in aftergame chat.

It's the ego. Some people can't take a loss because they are trophy kids, always getting awards for doing jack #########. They think they are God's gift to the world. Get a 4k? Pure skill. 4 escape? Game's broken and favors survivors.

Had a Killer (Legion) do the same thing this morning. We were on Coldwind farm and I got unhooked after the gates were opened. He DC'd before anyone could run out, but we still got the points, so /shrug/ his loss. He did get one kill though, that's what's stupid.

They could have needed to leave and shutdown their computer in a hurry. Or wanted to hop on another game right away to cool off.

The whole streamer thing was a side bar, and i didn't really talk ######### nor am i talking ######### of any kind here as well. Just calling out how BS it is for killers to do this sort of thing, and screw themselves out of points.

Except what happens when you work with your team, get all but one gen up with 3 or 4 players still alive and the Killer DCs. This just happened to me and I got zero blood from the game, despite earning at least 15k without escape.

When it rewards to killer for players DCing like "good job, you outplayed them and they rage quit, so you did good here's a bonus" but the players destroy a killer and he rage quits but you get no points for it, it's a bit of a spit in you the face.

"You didn't lose anything" except all equipment and sacrifices you put into the round, only for you to do so well that the killer went to cry about it.

Idk if this is just a console thing, but it's a pretty bad oversight for a mulitplayer game.
