Chapter Concept: Predator

Similar to my Alien chapter concept, this concept for Predator would probably not be what we get, but would still be neat. However, since there's really no standard human protagonist in the movies, this will just be the Predator. Here goes.

New Killer: The Predator

A member of an extraterrestrial race that hunts and kills for sport, The Predator has honed his skills in the art of the hunt. Always looking for more heads to add to his trophy case, The Entity took a keen interest in The Predator's methods and brought him into its realm to do one thing: Hunt.

The Predator's power is: Invisible Devil

The Predator has honed his skills in the hunt, using stealth and tech to always give him the edge.

Special Ability: Active Camouflage

The Predator activates his cloaking device, reducing his Terror Radius down to 6 meters, and remains cloaked until the Power Button is pressed, or injuring a Survivor.

Using a Basic Attack while Active Camouflage is active increases The Predator's lunge range by 15%.

Special Item: Traps

The Predator starts the trial with 5 Traps that he can use to trap Survivors. These can be replenished by searching empty lockers.

Press the Active Ability Button to place a Trap on the ground, or on a wall, dropped pallet, or window. Planted Traps become primed 5 seconds after being placed, and trigger after a Survivor gets within 5 meters of a Trap. When a Survivor triggers a Trap, they scream, revealing their location to The Predator and are inflicted with the Deafened status effect for 10 seconds as well as the Hindered status effect for 8 seconds. Survivors can crouch through the Trap's radius and can destroy it.

Traps are highlighted in a white aura for The Predator.

The Predator comes with three Perks.

His first perk is called: Blooded Hunter

You are a veteran of many hunts, and know just where to hit to make it hurt.

After Injuring a Survivor, this perk activates.

Your next Basic Attack will immediately put a Survivor into the Dying State.

Blooded Hunter has a cooldown of 100/90/80 seconds.

The Predator's second perk is: One Ugly Mother

One thing's for sure, you won't be winning any beauty pageants, but your resilience makes up for that.

When you are Stunned by a pallet, or Blinded by a flashlight, flashbang or blast mine, One Ugly Mother activates.

The next time you would be stunned of blinded, you immediately recover and gain a a tier of Bloodlust, as well as a stackable bloodpoint bonus in the Brutality category, up to 50%/75%/100%.

This perk deactivates until you are Stunned or Blinded again.

"You are one, UGLY #########."-Dutch.

The Predator's final perk is: Time Advantage

That advantage has always been yours.

After downing a Survivor and carrying them, this perk activates.

The carried Survivor's wiggle timer is paused for 5/10/15 seconds after being picked up.

Mori: The Predator plunges his hand into the Survivor's back, tearing out their skull and spine, before roaring in triumph and placing it on his belt.

Basic Attack: The Predator uses his wristblades to attack.

Stats.

Movement speed: 4.6 m/s

Terror Radius: 24 meters. 6 meters when cloaked.

Size: Tall.

Skins: Jungle Hunter (default.) City Hunter. Scar. Celtic. Wolf. Berserker. Upgrade. Fugitive. Feral.

I'm assuming you want constructive criticism. I'm not a fan of what you have made tbh. I've seen a few other people make very good chapters which are very fun to ponder about. Invisible and emits a 6 meter tr... I would make him undetectable, the traps are meh. I'm assuming u got the idea from prey and predator hunting grounds.

More or less from the original Predator. The reduced Terror Radius is there because we don't need another Wraith, and also to be authentic to the actual Predator itself. The traps are like concussion mines, because it was either that or bear traps. But yes, I do value constructive criticism. That comes with being a writer. So, I want your honest thoughts and what you think should be changed.

When I look/think of predator, the thought of concussion mines/traps never come to mind. Hes littered with weaponry and gadgets. About a day ago I made my own concept of how I think the predators power should be. Theres nothing wrong having another wraith style power as long as you can make it different and unique. I would say remove the traps and replace it with thermal vision, as this is what the predator is known for. I would again make him undetectable when activating his cloak.

As a hunter, the Predator does use traps to take down his quarry. I was hesitant to make him undetectable but when you word it like this, it does make sense. And I didn't add thermal vision, because that could get overpowered very quickly.

You would think it would be overpowered but its just another ability, The dredge has a similar mechanic where he can so survivor auras constantly.
