What's with all the huntress?
Just played 3 games and had huntress back to back in the same cosmetic (OG Bloody Costume with Glowing Eye), all using Overcharge but they were all different players.
Is there a tome challenge for this, was there a Twitch/YT player promoting a Huntress build or is it just a bizarre coincidence?

Coincidence but remember Huntress is a very popular killer, she has been the most selected killer at times.
I tend to see none then see them all at once too, which I really don't like as I am not a fan of Huntress with her fridge sized hatchet hitboxes and the sheer number of them that seem to be camping/tunnelling enthusiasts

I use her mostly because she's a simple killer to use and I love to get a snipe from the opposite side of the map :)

OMG yes, honestly I know it is a new killer and people love RE chapters in general... but my God and I absolutely sick to death of Wesker and honestly I just want to go next at this point as I often get them back to back. I wish we could at the very least choose to not go into a queue for the same killer we just had twice in a row...

Huntress got some optimizing done in the mid-chapter, so that could be a factor.

‘Free’ killer plus she’s a good all around killer.

Huntress is free, and is available immediately after downloading the game. She also doesn’t need to worry about addons, because none of her addons are powerful enough to be mandatory.
Trickster, on the other hand, feels like mega garbage without trick blades, and that should be base kit.
