Halloween Event: Rift bug issues

Anyone else having issues with the rift after the latest update? I can't access the rift when prepping my character, killer or survivor. I have to manually exit to select a challenge. Even when i do that, there's no rift progress! I've deposited so many shards in game for the event but even after selecting and reselecting the FIRST CHALLENGE in the Halloween event, it never progresses! I've contacted support twice now, I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems.
