Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

How do I get unbanned from the DbD Steam Community Hub Discussions?

Hi, I got banned from the DbD discussions like a month ago and I still don't know how to get unbanned. I sent a request of the official DbD site, they told me they aren't in control of the DbD Discussions, I asked on r/deadbydaylight, but they removed my post for "not being on topic" and I can't find ANYONE talking about this. I got banned for hating on the PTB that had many bad changes. Who can I contact to appeal my ban?

I got banned a year ago (looks like mod there is a little sensitive, vindictive and childish) and doesn't respond also, so here I am. Made many posts and tons of comments (10 times more than on Steam) and no complaints. So my answer is "no way, until mod is replaced". Just stay here.

That's just sad. The mods on the DbD subreddit are the same lmao. I just got one who removed my post asking this and they replied with "meh" when I asked why it got removed

Damn I thought the steam forums were super lenient based on the posts I've seen there.

I dont think they will ever lift your ban as my cousin as well got my account banned on the steam forum and I believe the steam moderator said bans will never be appealed. My guess is that its because the majority of their profit is from steam so they keep a tight leash on the area. I dont blame them but I do wish the bans they gave out were temporary and not permanent. You also gotta remember that steam itself doesnt moderate the games forum its the developers job. Just becareful what you say and the majority of you will never have to worry about being banned

Forum bans are not to be appealed, this also includes Steam bans.

If you have issues with your ban on Steam, you can discuss it with the moderation team by replying to the notification.
