Is there a good reason Clairvoyance requires you to be empty-handed to use it and if so, why?

So it doesn’t conflict with items, since they use the same button.

It doesn't have to. They could make it same as diversion but you'd need to be standing

They could, but then it’d have to only work while not running or it’d conflict with dead hard.
If you couldn’t use it while running that would make it a lot worse.

If you had items in your hands your blocking your third eyes sight.

Yeah, look at Mike there; she's clearly using both of her hands there. It's impossible to use items with this.
