Dredge's Tilling Blade Add-on - Timed Mangled
Dredge's Tilling Blade add-on has the following description: Healthy Survivors injured during Nightfall suffer from the Blindness, Hemorrhage, and the Mangled Status Effects for 60 seconds.
And yes, the add-on does in fact inflict a timed Mangled that lasts for 60 seconds. However, since patch 4.5.0, all instances of mangled were meant to be permanent until healed. So much so that the in-game description of Mangled says that it lasts until healed. I can only assume this was an oversight.
Here are two in-game descriptions of Mangled, describing the status effect as lasting until healed.
And here you can see that yes, the Mangled is indeed timed despite all descriptions of Mangled stating that the staus effect should last until you are fully healed.

6.4.0 patch later, this is still a thing. Still curious if there's some philosophy behind it that I cannot understand.
