Do you hoard good addons?
(For clarity i mean getting like 50 of a addon thats actually really good but just not using it). So i got into spirit recently to try the Mother-daughter ring and Cherry Blossom combo, and it with YakuYoke Amulet. Its pretty effective and definitely makes her easier. But looking at my 50 MDRs and 97 cherry blossom (spending 2 mill on her rn so that will probably rise) i kinda looked at all my killers. I have a lot of addons that are very good. Yet the amount of games i use these "amazing addons" i could count on 2 hands. Maybe i have a fear of using them especially if they are higher raritys? I don't get that feeling on some killers. With most of them their very good addons being in the lower raritys. I probably have enough addons for millions of games, i just i don't use them that much. How about you?

I only use brown add-ons except I like to use yellow on Myers sometimes, deadrabbit, and nemesis I will also sometimes use yellow, m’s blood and zombie heart. I have a collection/horde of all other add-ons

Yeah im kinda similar. Ill use the occasional green but mostly yellow and brown. My collection of purples and iris is so high its kinda funny. I think i just have a general fear of running out of certain higher rarity addons. So spending them till they are all gone terrifys me. Yellows and browns you can get millions so its never a problem.

Yes of course! What would I do if I use them, get accustomed to them, and then just run out? I can't let that happen.

Ditto. Id rather just let them collect dust then get used to the rush given by a addon ig and run out. Lol. Unless its a low enough rarity i have like 200 since i doubt i even have 200 more games in me. (Never know though)

I hardly ever use addons above yellow out of fear of running out, despite having dozens of them

I would like to be able to exchange addons in a sort of a basar.
Lets say 10 brown addons gives u 5 yellow and 1 green addon etc.

I hoard everything. Item, good addons. I have a problem with hoarding 😂. I only use items on on survivor when there is challenge requiring me to. And I might use iri or purple addons on killer once in a while, when I have a specific build I want to do.

I would say so, yea. I usualy run cheap brown or yellow (if I have a lot of them).

depends per killer. killers that can handle running green and below addons ill do that, but killers like sadako that need high rarity addons to win ill use faster than i gain

I tend not to use addons that are rarer than yellow. I just think "maybe you'll waste them and it will be all for nothing :O", so just in case I take lower rarity addon that would frustrate me less if I lose them.
I haven't played for years so the hoard is not much right now, but it will undoubtedly grow !

I used to. Then I realized: each trial takes approximately fifteen minutes. Four matches is an hour.
So that means forty of my favorite addon is ten hours of play. Mixed with likely replenishing more with points earned.
No point in doing so. Especially with 40+.

It really depends on the killer. Some killers, like Spirit have amazing rare addons but they change the mechanics of how the killer plays so drastically that I'd rather just not get too dependent on them so they collect dust. Others like Myers change the playstyle, but not the mechanics, but are rare enough that I only break them out once in awhile.
Some killers like Plague have a ton of great addon builds for all rarities that change playstyles, but not necessarily the mechanical action of physically playing the killer. I can mix and match as my heart desires and I'll burn through whatever pops up on the bloodweb.
Some killers have fairly garbage rare addons, but solid low to mid tier, so again I don't feel too much need to hoard anything.

I guess I do in the sense that I refuse to use easy mode auto-pilot add ons like MDR/Cherry Blossom, Alchemist's Ring, double range or 3 blink Nurse, etc. Those things will make you worse at killer in the long run and stunt your growth.

I use strong add ons sometimes but I try to save them more for special occasions so I don't get used to killer working like that always. I used like 20 silent bell add ons with wraith in a row so it was hard to switch back to weaker add ons then. Some killers I play rarely I have their iri add ons ready once I play them again.
