Universal Classic Monsters
So after years of nothing we finally got our first monster from the classic universal lineup. And of all of them it happened to be the one that was the least likely to show up in dbd , the Black Lagoon Creature - the Gill Man. Given that he did not have any remarkable feats , he is more then fine as a legendary skin.
That leaves us with four remaining : Dracula (or Vampire) , Frankenstein's monster, Werewolf and the Mummy .
I do not know but does Plague has a classic mummy skin ? She is perfect match for it , she might even be a mummy actually . One legendary skin and that is one more monster checked off the list.
Doctor could result into Frankenstein's creature, as Frankenstein is associated with electricity in some iterations. Maybe a legendary skin for him .. though his height is not a good match for him. Might be better as a separate killer. But could be lore wise connected to the doctor as an original character.
Dracula and Werewolf would pretty much have to be new killers , likely original . These two are also the most popular and requested of the five. It is quite strange that they did not end up in the game yet.
Dr. Jekyl / mr. Hyde could result into a unique original killer and invisible man is pretty much Wraith.
Do you think that we might get one of the remaining four in 2023 ?

Isn’t there even a charm that depicts Doctor as Frankensteins Monster?
Dracula or a vampire generally I could see being added as one was featured in a tome story already.
Werewolf I could see either original or a specific licensed one eg Quarry?

Yeah , it's called lil monster. There is one for Medusa called Gorgon too. Considering that , medusa would be a cool killer too.

Last years Doctor event cosmetic is a Frankenstein monster cosmetic.
Edit to add - isn't Blight basically the DBD version of Jekyll and Hyde?

Hmm we could then check Frank off the list too then. I did not know about this skin :D. As for Blight , not sure , might have to check his lore a bit. But he does have some cosmetics that can result into something looking like Hyde. Like :

Dr Jekyll creates a serum that turns him into murderous Mr Hyde that kills people with a cane.
Talbot Grimes uses serum that turns him into murderous Blight that kills survivors with a cane.
Seems like same thing to me. 😂

Tbh, Demogorgon would make a pretty good Werwolf with his shred and killer Instinct. The teleport could be reskinned as more generic "stalk through the bushes/woods".
But of course, Demos current state won't allow him to be made into a legendary skin, not to speak about a non stranger things franchise. I guess that would be the biggest hurdle, as the rights holders want to be recognised, not be generalised. But Demo would be a really good Werwolf fit

He could fit indeed , portals would need rework as you say. But given that the werewolf is my favorite monster I would hope they would give him the complete treatment and make him a separate killer :P. Not to mention that he would sell well as many would like to main him. As long as they make it look like the werewolves from Van Helsing . Add a tail and it's perfect. More monstrous one would be a bit less interesting as classic is classic :D

They could just slightly sidelines the Werwolf and make that an ice-cold wind riding, cannibalistic, vengeful Wendigo skin for Spirit.

I would love it if they did the vampire based on Bram Stoker's Dracula (the 90's film with Gary Oldman). With the long, trailing cloak and the weird hair.
And I'd also like it if they made the werewolf like the one in An American Werewolf in London. Maybe they could work in the "spirits of those who the wolf has slain" angle, too. They need to use the howl from the movie, too.
I don't know if any of you have seen the really old Invisible Man movie (from 1933), but he'd be a good wraith skin. He's such a jerk in that movie, it is hilarious. They should use some quotes of his, as he has a great voice.

Trickster visually could fit being a vampire and maybe get a tombstone cross as a weapon.
Deathslinger could get a van helsing getup with a crossbow skin for the Redeemer.
