This event is horrible end it early
The game crashes after a trial sometimes and this along with other things are making this game nearly unplayable.
Theres an increase in dc's on both sides although its on the survivor side much more and the event is not enjoyable at all to me.
I hate the stupid sounds the event brings to the generators as they sound too much like various killer sounds and there are some other things that make this event unenjoyable. People are actively looking for pumpkins which makes using hex totems a bad idea and i can name some other things wrong with this event but no need to.
This event is horrible for me personally between bad matchmaking and other things so i want the game to be fixed and this event over! Its stupid at this point!

Agree to disagree. I walk out with over 50k bp nearly every game, even when dying. I only have 7 more prestige levels to get across all survivors to be done with bloodpoints on them. I'm going to get that before the event ends.
There are various reasons to look for totems as it is that already made hexes a high risk high reward scenario. Boon totems are very popular, so people are already looking for them. Most experienced survivors already check every totem spot while walking from point A to B anyway just in case of a hex.
The bad matchmaking has nothign to do with the event. That's just how this game has always been. Really, the only complaint that holds merit is the sounds being annoying for you. Fair enough. But that's not a good enough reason to make everyone else miss out on an event and tons of BP just because you dislike them. If it bothers you so much, just stop playing until it ends in like a week and a half.

I can't disagree more. I'm having a great time, I'm getting loads of bloodpoints from a secondary objective (the kind that we haven't had since BBQ/WGLF left the building), my teammates are actually doing gens, and I'm even seeing an uptick in people playing friendly or doing silly things. Lots of spooky Myers/Ghostfaces/Sadakos and killers going for 2-hooks and then vibing.
I do agree that the sound from the esoteric generators is distracting, though, especially when you've got a stealth killer.

I didn't say anything about people doing totems what i said was that killer running them in this event is a bad idea!
The bad matchmaking doesn't have anything to do with the event? I beg to differ because people are ignoring objective at times to hoard bp which can have negative outcomes or effects in matches.
A week and a half? That's not that bad and once its gone good riddance! The snow man winter event was bad but not as bad as this one!

Good for you that your having fun bc i am not! You get paired up with good teams, i get paired up with bad ones and people that want to sandbag and dc most of the time.
The sounds are bad especially if theres a Dredge....Geeze this event is a**!

I have enjoyed the event and for once will actually be kinda sad to see it go. Best one so far for me personally

It's a shame you're getting the crashes and disconnects during your trials. My experience has been much different, with even dc's being less prominent than normal. However, this doesn't take away from the experience you're having, and the impact it's had on your matches.
But as for the sounds and pumpkins you're annoyed about I feel is nit-picking, and from my experience this event has been the best Halloween event for some time.

This. I love this event so much and am farming loads of BP to no end. Only 13 prestige levels to go, then I got all survivors and killers at P3 and can play anyone any way I like :>

Well its crashing after trials not during them and where i have to restart the application which is very annoying.
Everyone's experiences are different yeah and im venting but at the same time these are legit issues i feel.
The sounds sound too much like killer sounds and pumpkins can give survivors the "haste" status effect so i dont think im nitpicking at all.
Actually the amount of dc's have increased since this event and there were no crashes prior to it! I never said its the "only" reason but certainly are contributing factors! Dont make stuff up to reinforce your argument its not cool.

I like this event better than some of the others because it's got a little more fun of a mechanic to it than just looking for pedestals jammed in some remote corner, for instance. Also I like the new tome and archive system they have now and how the event challenges work.
Now if only I was playing a little better this week it would be great. 😄 (I keep alternating between everybody getting out and everybody dying this week which is hurting my kill rate. Combination of me screwing up and some tougher opponents or squads for whatever reason.)

You are asking to end a event that tons of people are enjoying cause you personally aren't
You are putting your own enjoyement over 100.000+ people if we aren't talking millions.
How is that anything but entitlement?
