is Wesker the new technically fastest killer? Even faster than Nurse?
Hey, i don't know if anyone noticed before... but i just found out something very interesting.
According to deadbydaylight.fandom The Nurse has a blink speed of 13.33 m/s
The Mastermind has a Bound Movement Speed according to fandom (eventually, at 100% animation completion) of 14 m/s.
So. Technically. Wesker is faster than Nurse blinking. And thus the new "fastest" killer in the entities realm.
or is there someone even faster?

That would be Demogorgon with tp speed addons or Dredge in nightfall if you want to count the setup

Demogorgons shred is 18.4 m/s and moves at 20 m/s through his portals.

Yeah demo and dredge move faster but have set places to move.

That is also removing the more insta teleporting out of the equation, Hag, Freddy, Sadako, Dredge, and Pinhead obviously can move faster with their teleports depending on far they go.
Edit: did not know dredge had a set teleport speed 38 m/sec

The problem I find with comparing movement speeds like this is it takes away all other aspects of the powers.
Nurse can go through floors and walls and while might be a bit slower than Wesker certainly has more mobility than he does.
Also Wesker goes ~21m with both dashes. Nurse goes 20m with her first blink (and 10m for her 2nd) before we event factor her range addons.
Blight is also a notable mention, because while he's not as fast as Nurse (9.2m/s by default) Blighted Crow, Blighted Rat, and Adrenaline Vial also increase his rush speeds and he has 5 charges. Meaning the distance he can cover is a lot larger than both Wesker and Nurse.

wesker according to wiki has acceleration in his ability, so he only moves at 14.0 m/s at last 0.2 seconds of his mobility. he is way slower nurse. this is so backwards. the character that goes through walls should be slower and the one that doesn't go through walls should be faster since nurse has way more efficient routing. For m/s they choose for wesker, he does not need that acceleration. just makes him easier to loop. it makes sense why its so much easier to 1vs1 wesker. Acceleration would make more sense if his max m/s was 500%-700% like demo shred.

Demo is the primo speedy boi. And i suppose victor might count. His pounce is pretty fast.

There are much faster killers.
Examples:
- a Bubba who sees that a survivor is coming to pick up another one
- a nurse when she chases a survivor and he makes the mistake of fast vaulting a window
- Victor when he sees a survivor wanting to play soccer with him
- the trapper when he sees a smart guy following him and disarming all the traps he sets
- Claudette P3 when she realizes that the killer has seen her, while she was hiding in a bush on BackWater
Oh, I forgot: any killer, when he sees Jeryl walking slowly in his direction.

Huntress can throw hatchets at 40 m/s. If she could throw victor, wonder how fast that would be

OK, I know this is bad, but I would LOVE for Victor to be thrown like a football at survivors. This would make him infinitely more useful and fun

Not even close.
Dredge, for example, moves at 38m/s during Nightfall; with Boat Keys, it's 15m/s during Daytime. Demo moves at 20m/s.

In the end, taking away the aspects of the powers and only looking the movement speed itself, insta teleporting killers (Pinhead, Sadako, Hag, Freddy) are the fastest... obviously. Then Dredge with his teleport in nightfall, then Demodoggy with his dash and teleport. Victor with his pounce is also one of the fastest... And then Wesker with his dash and then The Nurse.
But yes, powers play a big role. But lets say we got two points in a map, no set places like portals or lockers. Just a straight line. Then, to physically move from one point to another, Wesker would be faster than nurse with a one-time-use of his power and he'd go further than The Nurse. Well... in the end, powers really play a big role ;P

Using both charges of their respective powers:
Nurse travels 32 meters (20 first blink, 12 second blink), goes into 2.5 second fatigue where she can move 0.96m/s and then It takes 6 seconds to charge both her blinks meaning she only has to walk for 4.5 seconds before she can charge up her blinks again.
Wesker travels 21 meters (7 first dash, 14 second dash). Goes into 3 seconds cooldown at 2.3m/s and then takes 12 seconds to recharge both charges. He has to walk for 9 seconds before he can dash twice again.
It's hard to argue that Wesker is more mobile than nurse, because Nurse both goes farther and waits less for her charges to come back.
