What really annoys me when facing Trapper and Hag

No one pays attention to the ground I was put on hook after both opening a gate then saving a teammate and they end up getting caught more then likely doing a moonwalk or just not paying attention to the ground. Trapper is easy to counter if you look at what's on the ground even Hag. No one I've played with in solo q has ever paid attention to the ground either screwing me over or then getting screwed why does no one pay attention when facing them.

its very annoying. a couple of days ago i was playing solo and we were guaranteed a 4man out with the base kit Borrowed if the person got the unhook. but of course she stepped in the most obvious trap. then that spirled into the a 3k while I got out

I remember once vs a Hag, I was creeping towards an unhook, and this absolute derpnugget of a teammate comes barreling past me, intent on beating me to the rescue for those sweet unhook points. Trap goes off. NOED goes off (or maybe Devour, can't remember which.) 3 people hit the floor. Hope it was worth it, buddy.

Trapper I can forgive if there's a lot of grass, but sometimes he gets away with traps that are actual crimes against intelligence. The threshold where I get mad is when the same person falls for the same trap more than once.

Trapper is so funny. There have been so many times when I played Trapper as Killer and somebody tbags me and goes for a strong tile. At this point I'm thinking 'yes, it's a strong tile. I would run that tile if I were playing survivor right now. That's why I trapped it at the very beginning of the game'.

I find the people who BM Trapper because it's Trapper generally ragequit as soon as they get caught in a trap at a strong loop.

I think a lot of people are unused to facing Hag and just don't know her counterplays, at least for a while. I'm not great at survivor, and when played these past few days I had the genuine joy to face Hag a couple of times, but my teammates didn't seem to know you could crouch over her traps. I had to show them while going for unhooks.

I mean, even if they do pay attention to the ground, there are times when you literally just cannot see the traps, Hag is worse for this seeing as her traps are smaller, have a larger AoE, and are 2D. I personally hate going against both of these killers because it feels as though their counterplay is "guess where they've been that match".

This comment made me laugh so much when you said traps that are crimes against intelligence 😂 I actually have fun playing hag and trapper so this was great

That's just solo queue, baby. Long have solos not crouched to the unhook. Barely anyone plays Hag, so Survivors turn their brains off against her. I'd argue she's the best pub-stomper in the game because 90% of players don't bother to play around the traps.

As for Trapper, imagine you play on your PS4 with no graphics options, and the Trapper brings Tar Bottle for darker traps. I probably wouldn't see them either.

You've not played with me in a trial then :D. I'm very attentive when it comes to Trappers and Hags, and especially if there is a Hag about, my torch is more often aimed at the groind than above.

I feel it's more to do with the moment than being solo. I remember seeing a video where Dowsey was doing that survivor challenge with Aryun, JRM and Otz, and even after explaining to Otz where the trap was he still got caught. It can happen to the best of them.

But it's absolutely right that if people are taking on a Trapper or Hag (or heck, even Freddy - although his should be painfully obvious) that it pays to take a couple seconds more to survey the area before doing a Leroy Jenkins.

I hate it when I crouch walk to unhook someone that’s been trapped by Hag and they just run away and set off the traps.
