Are there more pallets on every map or is that just me?

I've noticed recently that there seems to be an increasing number of pallets on each map.

On top of this the pallets that spawn are usually in connecting loops.

Now i don't have anything to compare it with but has anyone else noticed that there are additional pallets on the maps now (except the game as its kinda hard to get any more pallets on that map).

I was watching one of Demi plays videos today and on badham he had 7+ connecting pallets. That surely can't be right??
