What's even the point of a DC penalty for survivor players if they already have a "give up" button in the form of letting go on hook?

Survivors are able to leave the game whenever they want with no penalty, while killers are forced to just wait it out. If I, for example, were to get sent to Lerys while playing Billy, the only option left in order for me to not have a really bad time is to just alt-tab and watch something until the survivors get bored.

If BHVR could also get data on which maps were most DC'd on, that'd also give an indicator of map balance for both sides.

It makes 0 sense to me that one side has a free "out" card
