Silly question about chases...

Hey all,

This might be a silly or stupid question, but I'll ask anyway; How do you know you're being chased as a survivor? I ask because I have a challenge where I have to break 15 pallets while being chased. I thought I had broken more than a few in a match, but none of them registered, and I thought I was being chased. So, are there any indicators that the game is registering a chase?

    You mean when chasing a survivor? Because survivors can't break pallets. When you get in a chase, chase music will start playing

    You get the super scary music when you're actively in a chase. If the killer is too far away, they might be "chasing" you but until you hear the super scary music, it's not considered a true chase.
