Any news about delayed self-recover & finishing mori?
Hope those to be completely cancelled but want to know what changes those will have and when it will be updated.
I'm also shocked player negative feedback actually worked when Hillbilly, Freddy, Deathslinger changes came same on live server.

It's not delayed. The test that was ran on the PTB for it was mostly just to see if it would work and what major issues would immediately come up. There hasn't been an official release date given yet for it going live. Rough estimate most people are giving it is sometime between now and first quarter of next year.

There will be at least one more PTB to trial these ideas before they would go live, especially if the feedback was largely negative.
My guess is with especially vocal concerns regarding the Mori system, there may be a considerable rework of that proposed system. There appeared to be less complaints at the unbreakable-esque basekit, but that number was still not minor so my guess is that will be subject to some reviews also.

It will be very bad for the game if either change goes through, but especially basekit self-pickups.

I hope its not going to live. It kills alot interaction between players. No need to pick up, no point in saving in end game. Games are just Gen rush and exit.

The only thing out of the finisher mori system they should keep would be the flashy, finishing kill done on the final survivor. And as opposed to doing this automatically when all four survivors are down (which is a horrible idea anyway because even when everyone is down, there are perks that can turn the situation around for survivors, like Unbreakable, Flip Flop, Boil Over, Boon Exponential, Power Struggle), the killer would instead choose to initiate this, as if you had a Yellow Mori offering equipped.
Forcing the killer on a kill all scenario is an idea I find silly and robs the players of what would be interesting interactions. The game should give you more options on how to play, not less.
