Infected Portals - pros, cons, pitfalls
I was this day old when I figured out that event portals really re-spawn (not like old one dissapear after some time and new one appear instead - it's technically the same portal) and Plague seems to be able to infect those portals. So playing against Plague you have real chances to get infected by delivering void energy.
I don't think it's smth truly unintended so I don't post it as a bug but I'd like to share this information and... well. Is it worth to puke on portals then? XD

That actually works? You don't get a score event or an infection shader on them when playing Plague, and that's usually the feedback you get when something is infected - you can even infect the hatch, and it used to be you could infect breakable walls, too. I'm pretty sure you could infect the snowmen last year, but every other event item I've seen has been immune.
Could be a crafty way to use prayer tablet fragment, I suppose.

As you can see, yes. Either that or sickness now tranfers through space and time, huh
So yeah, tablet fragment could be very handy during the event, lol

I figured they worked like that, with how the aura reveals for the portals seemed to work. Never occurred to me that Plague would be able to infect them, though.

Psst, your video's private.
I'm thinking that the infection might come from other sick survivors interacting with the rift, though. I don't think there's a physical object for Plague to puke on, and the lack of a score event indicates that, but there's definitely something you can interact with and that spreads sickness.

Oh, i was sure I clicked right option, it wasn't published for some reason.
Now it is available x)
As for infection, I don't know. Two other teammates died (and DCed) early and my infected friend was chased, he wasn't able to infect the portal. I don't know if timings are right to keep it infected so long to respawn twice before I touched it. But maybe you are right with this theory, tho
